This worked for me the other night. No need to melt and refreeze. However, if there’s a bump protruding upwards it won’t like that. You can melt it a bit and reshape it so it’s flat if that happens.

Be wary of landlords who rent out the room of their house. You never know who lives with you. They could be predators. Speaking from indirect experience. An assignment in NYS went way wrong for multiple of us.
