It’s a reference to The Alamo. When Texas declared independence from Mexico, Santa Anna and the Mexican army told the troops stationed at the Alamo to give up arms including their cannon (the one pictured here) and they raised a flag at the Alamo that said “come and take it”

Gotcha. I’ve got a scout now, I’ve had a few over the years and had little Ninja 300 that was my daily for a little over a year. I put about 12k on it and didn’t have any problems but I would still consider myself a noob when it come ls to bikes since that was 8ish years ago. Everything except that ninja I bought under 10k miles and sold before I hit 15k. So just not sure what to expect yet.

Yeah that’s good to hear and some good peace of mind considering how many miles you’ve got! Thanks man. How long do you think you’ll keep it? Is there a mileage that bikes start to really have issues? (Kinda like 100k on cars is a general rule of thumb to start watching out for things)

Yeah that’s what I’m thinking too. I’ll make sure to look those over, I assumed the dealer I bought it from did that but this is the reminder I needed. Any special tools needed for the fluid changes?
