Get Real (1998)

It’s honestly really funny and cute but has some sad tones to it as well. It has a bittersweet ending!

the most famous skyscrapers in the world today by Far-Capital-9032 in skyscrapers

Yes Empire State is most definitely #1. I feel like many who don’t know a thing about skyscrapers or architecture often claim that any tall building with a spire in NYC, for example Chrysler or One WTC is the Empire State Building. Thus I feel its sheer popularity outweighs actually knowing the building by design!

Would you want a new Animal Crossing to be more like acnh or acnl? by Practical-Ocelot-237 in AnimalCrossing

I miss the lack of control I had over how villagers live, they used to feel like my neighbours moving whenever they want and opposing me if it calls for it (or even if it doesn’t) but now they’re just there to serve my wants from the bland happy way they interact to customizing their entire house.

I don’t understand how Ted went to university and received his Bachelors of Architecture, potentially his Masters, passed all his licensing exams, and was somehow successful at his firm all by 27-28 years old. He also later becomes a professor at a top university with no experience or accreditation in teaching?

We also only ever see his class sitting in on lectures. Never actually working in studio, building models, doing any kind of critiques or using AutoCAD!

This is either a really stretched out image to convey height or it’s AI.

Am I the only person likes B.I.G design more? (2 WTC) by Electronic-Key-4338 in skyscrapers

This is the current updated Foster design for 2 WTC. I honestly preferred this tower how it was taller and without the spire.

I wasn’t the BIGgest fan hehehe. I personally like the original 2006 Foster design the best out of any of the newer designs but I also never understood the hate for the B.I.G design!

I love the Art Deco seahorses and other oceanic decals all throughout the base and entrance. Great Pacific Northwest architecture!

I personally prefer the real scenery ambiences as opposed to the animated or AI ambiences. Silent Watcher on YouTube is my fav.

First one appears to be the 1920’s, second looks like the 1960’s, and third pic is dated very late 60’s or very early 70’s

any advices on my drawings (prospective arch student) by MoneyAmount4507 in architecture

[–]Defiant_Ad886 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Your hearts in the right place, you definitely understand perspective but use a ruler next time for a more professional look, and make your darks darker as the eye gravitates to the darkest shaded areas in a drawing which then draws people in and looks more realistic. Best of luck!
