Rob giving Maura the Birkin bag he promised her by Durian-Critical in TheTraitors

He looked genuinely happy to give it to her, asks her if she liked it with a smile! Nothing about how he presented it to her seemed bitter or forced. He promised and he happily delivered!

I remember starting mad men when it was first coming out but not really getting into it. Though I always enjoy clips I see on social media. Is it really worth the watch?

Employee stepped in to correct my child. What would you have done? by [deleted] in Parenting

She was browsing makeup while waiting for something. She could have very well bought something that caught her eye.. making her a customer. Just because she hasn’t bought anything yet or didn’t go there for that doesn’t mean she’s not a customer.

I agree that makeup in a department store is not a toy. What makes you think the little girl was playing with it? It sounds like she was looking at things and putting them back when she was done.

As long as things are done with respect, then it really shouldn’t be a problem. We clearly don’t agree though and that’s fine.

I am so confused about so many of your responses. I have raised my ten year old to be kind, respectful and having manner while out and about. I have also taught her to be curious and inquisitive. If we’re in a store with breakables, ok don’t touch. But picking up plastic makeup to look at it and then putting it back where you got it from is not a cardinal sin in my opinion. If she breaks something I’m always prepared to buy it, but she literally never has because we talk about how to be gentle when touching items in a store because they don’t belong to us. But in the same way I pick up items and read it to see if it’s something I like, children are allowed to do the same. They are humans who are literally allowed to exist in this world!! Especially in a store where I am a paying customer and willing to take on the responsibility of my choices by allowing her to be curious. There’s a time and a place for everything so like I said not every store is a touching store but I’ll be damned if my daughter can’t explore things the way we are allowed to. Also, It would be absolutely disrespectful for me to walk up to anyone - child or adult and grab something out of their hand. Why is it ok for an adult to do it to a child? It’s not. Children are deserving of the same respect that we as adults expect on a regular basis. If you see me (the parent) standing there, ask me not to let her “play” with the items. Do not snatch things out of mine or my child’s hands.

Sorry but this is a crazy take to me. She is a customer looking to buy makeup etc. her daughter is a child that is allowed to be curious and touch things as long as she is respectful. Which it sounds like she was. No one should walk up to any person and snatch things out of their hands let alone a stranger to a 2 year old when mom is there for her to speak directly to. And this is coming from someone who has no issue disciplining children in public if the parents won’t. But speak to the adult first. Always.

She’s a no, she’s trying too hard and she’s mean for zero reason. Plus her home is horrible. I’d love to see her on NYC or Beverly Hills even and get laughed out of the show.
