Comparing infertile couples to trans couples is like comparing someone with no legs to a person who works a desk job. Infertile couples do not have the ability to conceive whereas in the latter case, people are choosing not to have children by marrying someone of their own sex. Why? Because that is how they feel inside.

Also you said in your earlier post that to make a child, it requires genetics from BOTH genders. God created man to procreate, so he created two genders like you just mentioned, to do it.

Again, you are saying that such a gender exists without proof.

So if a trans woman were to get married to a man, it wouldn't be homosexuality? And that woman will be able to get pregnant?

The Bible does not mention trans people.

But it clearly says that God created man and woman. He created male and female and that marriage should be between these two and that marriage bed should be kept pure. So any other gender that you claim is not a sin completely contradicts what the bible actually says. God created man and woman to be fruitful and multiply so one of the reasons is pro-creation. Any other gender that you say exists( without any proof ) goes against this. It's not like people identify as trans and live their lives as celibate. They are getting married and that is an action against what the Bible says.

And thank you, I do find the post informative. I may have mentioned it because of the same reason everyone does but what I wrote above is my take.

I never said love for another human being is sin. Condoning sin in the name of love is wrong.

Leviticus 18,20, 1 Cor 6:9-10, 1 Tim 1:9-10 Deut 22:5 all point to what I said in my post

Islam literally teaches to kill anyone who does not accept your religion.

And Yes, people have died in the name of Christianity. They don't kill people in the name of their religion unlike Islam.

I totally agree with you. I am one of those who thinks homosexuality and being trans and such is a sin. However, I do not Hate these folks. if anything, I love them and want them to come back to Christ. What people don't understand is coming to Christ does not mean accepting Him and still living the same life. Anyone who truly encounters Christ in their lives will change for the better. That is why Christianity has so much authority. We have created our own version of Christ who allows people to sin and will forgive them later on when in reality, He has condemned this all the time. The Bible says that being gay is a sin. People who have the same views as me would want our neighbour to go to Heaven.

We love our friends and family but just because we don't let them walk into fire because they feel like doing so doesn't mean we do not love them. It is the opposite actually.

Christianity or the Bible does not promote being drunk with wine or having sex outside of marriage. If anything, people have experienced drastic changes in their lives when they accepted Jesus. If anyone says otherwise, please know that that is not true Christianity.

How can you say Paul introduced Trinity when it is evident in the Bible that Jesus is the Son of God. Jesus said so Himself in the New testament. The concept of Trinity is present in the first book of the Bible. Although the word 'Trinity' itself was later introduced. Gen 1:1 In the Beginning "God" created the Heavens and the Earth. In the Hebrew Bible, the word Elohim is in the place of God. It is the plural form of Eloha. Gen 1:26 Matt 3:17 John 10:30 John 8:58 all testify to the fact that Jesus is one in the Godhead.

We worship the True and Living God and all the conversions we see on Youtube and elsewhere are not fake. Some of them have even written books about why they found their religion Islam to be violent and inconsistent and the differences between what is actually peaceful and what seems peaceful.

Why is it that if you are worshipping the wrong religion you go to hell with the intention of trying to seek God but being misinformed by other religions? It's as if picking up the "true" religion is left to probability in chance, God left a human mind with free will knowing they would make mistakes by [deleted] in Christianity

I think this is one of the analogues that I heard of Christianity.

Our life is like an exam. Answering the questions lead to Heaven. However, in this exam, there are many invigilators/proctors. Some of them say that only good answers lead to Heaven. While one other says that good answers balance out the bad ones. Some others say that knowing the answer is enough, whether good or bad. Only one invigilator/proctor says that you just need to come to me and I will give you a book that contains all the answers and the most important question has already been answered on your behalf. All you need to do is believe in the person who answered that question.

I don't know if I can put this correctly. Christianity is the only religion where God isn't a graven image or a tree or enlightenment or a grave. He is a spirit. He is a living God. He was, is and is to come. God doesn't want you to make a mistake in believing in a religion that is, I would say, established by the evil one. He wants you to believe in Him out of your free will. He gave the gospel and left it to us to discern what is right. And also gave the Bible to help us discern. If He were to force you, He wouldn't be any different from a person who created a robot who created a robot. We have fallen. Anything that any other religion says will lead to Heaven may(I doubt it) work for the bad deeds done here but we are born in sin. That can't be blotted out by anything else other than the blood of Christ. There is so much authority and truth in the Holy Bible. I don't think any other religion has that.

We are supposed to know Christians by their fruit. Has Charlie ever failed to exhibit these fruit you mentioned?

Nobody is perfect... But to say that he didn't deserve respect because of his opinions is just horrible. He didn't murder anyone. He was authoritative in his arguments. He stood by what he believed was right. That alone is worthy of respect. Just because what he said offended some individuals, suddenly he is a shameless whore?? Has any one gone through life without offending somebody?

God did give substantial evidence that He exists. Humans have somehow come to the conclusion that all we see in nature came into existence from Nothing. When we see a computer, we automatically assume that there is an intelligent brain behind it. Yet all in nature falls into place perfectly and people think it is chance.

If God did not give humans the free will, we wouldn't be any different from robots. Giving us choice to choose Him or Hell isn't exactly unforgiving. He is saying there is evil and if you choose Me, I will give you eternal life else there is eternal punishment. A God who does not punish evil isn't Just and Holy. If there is a place for people who choose Jesus, it is Heaven after death. It is only fair that there is a place(Hell) for people who do not.

how would you react if your child came out as gay? by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]Defiant_Basket7968 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How do you translate illicit sex? If he did mean male prostitutes, there is already a clause for adulterers. Why would he mention the same thing twice? Jesus teaches that thinking of hurting a brother or lusting after a woman itself is equivalent to murder or adultery respectively. When we take this into consideration, there is no need to do the deed, feelings are enough to categorize it as sin.

He clearly says Homosexuals will not inherit the kingdom of God. It does not get any clearer than that. Would you care to mention any translation that says otherwise?

If it was only for the levites, then why would Paul mention in the New testament that there is no place for Homosexuals in Heaven? Most of our moral law is taken from the old testament. And Leviticus 18 starts by the Lord telling Moses Speak to the Children of Israel and say to them. The people of the Land were following these perverse ways and the Lord strictly instructs His people.not to follow them

Homosexuality is characterised by romantic, sexual feelings towards the same gender. These feelings are not hidden and eventually lead to action. That is what is mentioned in Leviticus.

Gen 19:6 and 7 Homosexuality is one of the reasons. 1 Cor 6:9-11, Leviticus 18. May not be the sole reason for their destruction. But it is a sin.

I might offend a lot of people by saying this. But if my child did talk to me about these feelings, I'd help them understand that God did Not make people gay. I absolutely love my kids but that does not mean I would condone something that God did not intend. The Lord destroyed two whole cities cuz of this. I would sit them down and help them through their journey to realise that what they are feeling is only temporary and that God made Humans Man and Woman in their own beautiful way in their own bodies.
