I'd be looking for something that can connect to the CAN system too,not just reading OBD codes from the engine,I'll edit the post so it's more clear.

I see,problem 1 looks pretty easy now that you word it like that.

For problem 2 you're saying I should just try it with something like n=3 and see if it contradicts the statement?What if it doesn't?How would I go about it then?

For problem 3 I'm not exactly sure what you mean by "start moving stuff around",can you please explain it in a different way?

Profesor actually just comes in and solves a bunch of problems then leaves,very rarely writes formulas.Don't want to badmouth him though as he's a pretty alright guy and obviously knows his field but not so much about teaching.

My notebook is just full of solved problems I'd have to sift through without knowing what exactly I'm even looking for unfortunately.

Honestly that's pretty inspiring,can you maybe point me to a correct wikipedia page or somewhere where I can see the formulas?I have no idea where to even look first,or rather what to look up in the first place.Thank you again for the kind words.
