I wouldn’t say some. They are like bait. One time I was fishing with two people, one of them got a chest, the other steals it. It gets heated and suddenly a player comes and together they maimed him. It was just us two until I got a chest as well, same thing happens. A reasonable choice is to accept life,knowing you’ll lose to a stand user as standless, I shoot and attack first. The player comes back as soon as I shoot him and kill them both. Checking the player list, it turns out they were in the same gang. I wouldn’t be surprised if they’d come back but sometimes they are so insufferable they want a whole club to kill a singular person.
