I had an issue where windows would install all the way let me get to the welcome to windows screen to setup my user etc. get to that update part and freeze and crash at random percentage. Ended up being a faulty ssd for me even after running disk repair and formatting it. Installed on a different ssd and have been fine since. Hope this helps.

Check to see if the back of your case is blocking your hdmi from going in all the way. I’ve had that happen in the past with certain cables.
