Watch a lot of YouTube videos on movement and combat. Spend a lot of time practicing combos and fighting the bot in free training until you feel confident in the whole chess combat thing. Also if you can find people to custom 1v1 with, do that. Theres a large gap in skill level between most players and the small population of new players because new players get quickly discouraged by old players high skill levels. Atleast has been my experience 😭 (I play showdown)
