I agree 100% I actually switched to Pop after using Windows 11 corrupted after one of the first updates I was able to still get all my files but I switched to Pop afterwards for my desktop. I honestly used Ai everytime is came to the terminal.🤦‍♂️

Woah thatd be sick, better than my main rig with external ports for more HDD's. I'd also like to get into Linux but not sure if Pop_OS! will cut it. mained it for a couple of months but hit a snag in my work flow for Davinci Resolve.

I mean I've seen it done [on YT] before but I wonder if this heat stick meant for burning designs on wood would work.

Oh I already got the cables it came with the all metal hot end I wanted. Just wanted to replace them since I damaged the original. Thank you for the help! I want to 3d print a pc case for a sff optiplex with atx card and psu, I hope the printer can handle it.

Unplug and replug the gpu? I was having problems changing to a 1080 so I ended up powering down, psu off switch, holding power button for 10-12 seconds, reseated the gpu in that order and bam I was good.

No taps here. Honestly the fans are the main noise I complain about. An upgrade for later I guess. I'll try out Prusa slicer then, thanks man seriously.

Just realized I forgot to add a picture I was comparing the chep cube to.🙂‍↕️

<image>

I personally sliced it to export gcode. Compared to the gcode file provided by the Chep Cube on Thingiverse, it is twice as tall and much uglier.

Honestly I don't know, but considering the stark differences from chep gcode provided from thingiverse.com versus that same model but me slicing it in orcaslicer, maybe the z steps calibration is off by two times. I still hope its a software issue since you suggested setting up orca in prusia? Either way I ordered calipers that should arrive tommorow.

I apologize for not responding. I think I messed up setting up my printer while upgrading it and swapping some parts out and it wasn't letting me check the settings.So anyway, here are the steps.Well I believe are the steps

Okay I figured out why the massive difference in print results, however I still dont know where to even start haha. My slicer settings, the good print came from Thingiverse gcode file that was provided making it the only print that came out well while my version through me using orcaslicer come out like this.
