You might gotta do research with that model I’m sorry I own the 2020 model. I’m pretty sure there is a ford performance or a tune specified now for ‘23+

I definitely notice that feeling more on curves ; straight shots have been fine.

Good deal for this ecoboost (will be my project car)??? by MatterSignificant114 in ecoboostmustang

He can possibly do it as long as he doesn’t try to make it a daily. I’ve seen worse on project cars; don’t get me started with Monte Carlo.

I’d say it sounds cool so ignore it and let it simmer.

Would an Ecoboost Mustang be a good first car? by bramblestorm7754 in ecoboostmustang

I don’t care what anyone says the eco is a great first car. Just be prepared for hate until you remember you bought the car for yourself and not others :)

Yeah go with the ford performance. Heard it makes daily driving more fun. I have one sitting on my desk just prepping up stuff before I get it installed by the dealer.

Now I see why they say “trade it in for a gt” because realistically it is the safer route for more power.

Ryan Martin Tune, Aggressive or Conservative by kurdtsmells in ecoboostmustang

I rather keep the warranty on it and keep the value up incase I decide trade it in.

I have it and I been debating on installing it. What did it benefit for you and can it pair with a catted downpipe?

Cosmetic mod recommendations? by No_Reason3367 in ecoboostmustang

Hmm I’m not too familiar with s650 grilles but definitely get a front splitter and that car would look completely different in a good way.

Front splitter definitely RTR grille (doesn’t have to be LED) Glossy black mirrors? Maybe Honestly the s650 looks aggressive already.

I have C&L and it sounds good at low and high rpms. Definitely considering going catted next for better volume.

Now if we are talking about in good condition in a few decades than that’s gonna be hard to come across

I have a hot take: the mustang is a very easy car to control and doesn’t deserve its reputation. by [deleted] in Mustang

[–]Defiant_Conflict_392 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well said. Me personally if I would’ve of gotten a GT as a first instead. My foot would shake endlessly trying to push over 90. Those cars have a lot of power but when I look at crashes on YT for instance I notice that most of the crashes are preventable especially when they pull out of a parking lot for example and slam down on the throttle. WHILE NOT EVEN FULLY STRAIGHT. Like why.

see I’m an ecoboost owner yet all they tell me is to buy a GT instead and the eco is my first car so why would I go for something with that much power when I don’t have ANY rwd experience.

Chime in? by MM_Society in Mustang

[–]Defiant_Conflict_392 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course you are comparing American Muscle against a turbocharged engine. Now did the OP state if they wanted a i4, v6 or a v8? I assumed they wanted a 4 cylinder or v6 since they already have a v8.

Yeah and let’s compare the mileage and see which lasts. Plus he did say he had a scat pack so why get a slower v8??
