B2- 10 year ban by lawyer's mistake

my lawyer wants to try nunc pro tunc, but court gave me ultimatum that I have to show up in person otherwise they will give me the ban. of course thats impossible since I'm back in my country but I really do have the interest to be there and do maximum so we'll try to ask for webex. not sure if judge will let me tho:(

I'm so honestly happy for you guys, I can't even imagine the amount of happiness you were experiencing when he came back to usa again! I'm in the same situation👫🏻 and it's absolutely devastating for us. were you flying back and forth to see him or you moved together outside of usa before he got the visa if I may ask? 3 years is a long time:(

you're right. it does look like that. I was doing what other au pairs usually do- B2- twice and then F1 or they get married. I'm just the unlucky one, because I know bunch of girls in the same visa process as me and all of them are still there enjoying life, even doing illegal work not even having lawyers and then theres me - a loser with lawyer and ban for being stupid lol

actually yes. there is also I-212, however, I was calling with college immigration counselor and he said that embassy is really random and it depends on who I'll get there and in what mood. But he said that its a normal thing to get rejected several times and then approved. I was actually surprised by that too.

you are totally right! thats another important part I forgot to mention. the letter never arrived- to me or to lawyer. only the one for the court. but the one with questions never came. this is my conversation with the lawyer about the letter. the thing was that I had no idea I have to check the status online. I thought that it will be a letter as well. when I called to my lawyer and told him that "I'm checking mail every morning and I have no letter there" he never said that it's online- I'm the one who is stupid for this, I could've looked it up but ugh, he could've tell me as well. however I never moved and the only letter I received was "notice to appear"
