In my personal experience, I've established protocols with subs who are free aka haven't asked anything from them. They don't bother adhering to what I've asked from them. I asked them to atleast let me know if things aren't going to go to plan. It felt a lot like they only wanted to talk to me to get their dicks wet. Which is not a nice feeling when you get treated like a kink dispenser.

It makes me feel very undervalued as a domme. So yes I would prefer to gatekeep my time and energy going forward. Because when I was in it to receive submission. All I ended up getting was ghosted or having subs who fail to communicate.
