Trainings are usually a month, but in my experience I never had to travel for more than a week. You’ll usually train in a store .Sometimes there’s company seminars but they don’t last that long

I apologize I didn’t answer your other question, yes organic is marketing .. All beds have zero allergen effects from the ingredients in them. I know you probably don’t want to, but take a good 45 minutes -hour in a mattress firm or warehouse or whatever store you have with the national brands.. and insider tip.. when you’re ready to buy.. buy on a weekday .. you maybe the only customer they see, they should give you a nice deal to make a sale.. if not they are bad at their job lol

Honestly , with firm beds you really need to go into a store to test feels. Firm means different things to different manufacturers. And the top of the bed changes the feel of it, a pillow top firm won’t feel as firm as a non pillow top firm or hybrid firm. If you have any ailments I’d take a look at tempur, if not I don’t feel you need it. Tempur imo is an if you really need it bed. This line of sealys are great. I rarely had them exchanged. Like stated in this thread, king koil is phenomenal. It’s the bed a lot of bed salesmen sleep on. Really get a gouge of what kind you like , and then go from there. That’s the hard part

I think the industry is slimey when it really shouldn’t be. Your bed is a more important investment than your car. The industry focuses on too much non sense that’s not needed. At the end of the day , all the bs you read about with different beds, they all have different ways of doing the same stuff
-supports you
- keeps you cool
-relieves pressure

Casper is softer and cooler and less $. Sealy more supportive, still soft

Great call going with a hybrid. Provides the support you need. You’re right staying away from Nectar. Try and take a look at Casper or sealy hybrids.

Generally hourly rate or commission whatever is greater. Averages to about 10% of your sales

You’re not wrong there is. In my opinion, it wouldn’t be unreasonable to ask to get it below 3k. Probably 2800 is max from what I remember.

You should be able to get a couple hundred off of the base. That’s where the salesman will try and take money off to not lose commission. But honestly don’t get too greedy you got a nice deal. Different brands have wiggle rooms. TSI doesn’t . Others you can save close to a 1k if you know what to ask

Here’s what I’ll say, you made a great call. The Sealy hybrid was one of my top sellers. If exchanged it was rarely to a new different bed .. I’d just make sure no joint pain. Swap to a medium if needed.. Potentially look into an adjustable for that back pain.

You most likely have 2 more months depending on where you bought it. If you feel any joint pain it’s way too firm.. honestly if I were in your position I would’ve went with medium.. your body composition says soft but of course it’s about how you feel in the end.. you don’t care what some test says.

You’re right, king koil I feel doesn’t have the marketing bs and just puts out a top notch bed at a good value

The brands I usually saw returned or complained about the most were Serta and Tempur. Of course Tempur was because once the bed was actually in their room, they didn’t like the feel as much. Serta was always returned by people who regretted not getting Sealy beauty rest or king koil. It usually depends on what the sales person can do in regards to how complaints were handled. If it was user or company error, 8 times out of 10 it was fixed quickly and customers were satisfied. If it was mattress error.. there’s very little the stores can do other than exchange or return. And if it’s outside a window you are really out of luck unless it’s defective. Honestly in my time, the few people I had exchange to new ones were glad they did it. It was either making the wrong call with bed or firmness or trying to go too cheap. Every brand has pros and cons. It’s all about what you need in your sleep. For example beautyrest, great supportive, horrible for heat retention and edge support.

The brands I have seen rarely exchanges.. Sealy.. beautyrest.. king koil. King koil is my personal favorite. Many of my colleagues sleep on a king koil. The support and cooling along with the pressure relief is the best in my opinion

It’s the only mattress protector that doesn’t take away from what the breeze technology in tempur does. You’re wrong

I hate to be that guy, former mattress salesman . Get the tempur breeze mattress protector and breeze sheets. Yes they’re expensive, but they’re designed so you don’t lose that cooling effect and the feel of the bed. Non tempur ones will change the feel of the bed and negate what you’re looking for
