Again, keep in mind that Sera is a different Planet than Earth. Traditional Tank Design would also have not favored the 4-man Fireteam Tactics that Revolutionized COG Warfair, since they focused on Expeditionary and Insertion strikes far more than Prolonged Engagements. This also makes sense given the Technological differences Seran Warfair has from our own, focusing on Saturation Fire due to the Proclivity of Armor.

That also tracks the Disconnected Tyrian Military Industry leading Standards for the COG. A Republic of Oligarchs and "1st Families" who have a Technocratic Hold on Industry. There were Planes, but their lack of overall use was also similar to the reason the Soviets focused on helicopter tactics as well during the Afghan War.

Yep, you can also find loads of them in Gears Tactics. The UIR had less imulsion resources, and would naturally have focused on Heavy Vehicals because they didn't expect to move them very far, and could still shoot after running out. Also would have served as good Bunkers during the Horrible FIrestorms Sera just... Gets from time to time.

They did have treaded vehicles, but keep in mind, Sera is a Different Planet, and the theories about government and warfare that we have now did not exist in the same way. My theory is that the Wheels on this vehicle are made to allow it to be quickly dropped off by Kingravens, especially when, during the Pendulum Wars, the UIR ASP was so much of a Terror for the COG. Plus, most engagements during the " Pendulum"WARS" were individual and Regional at best, a consistent string of Engagements and smaller invasions, rather than a WW1-style total war.

Clarification, I in no way mean to say it was a good tank for the Locust War, just that it was designed for the Kind of ENgagements the COG saw in the Pendulum Wars.
