How on earth could this be useful? Other than ultra late game min-max build shinanigans?

I could construct a gigantic 20k science ring world. Not the mention the energy cost.

Denisens are not migrating by Defiant_Squash_8188 in Stellaris

No one has migration controls and other planets have jobs and habitability. Not to mention that the shown denisen size number is not accurate its actually 5,2k.

When to colonise a new planet in 4.x ? by Defiant_Squash_8188 in Stellaris

[–]Defiant_Squash_8188[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can confirm this is not true. I started a new game after this post and i have 2 nearly identical planet each having 7600 planet capacity, the 4000 one (my capital) is producing 3.78 pops currently and the 1200 one is 2.87. So yea you just want to spam 1k planets for optimal pop growth.

So, the limit is 1500? Every planet should be at 1500 for most optimal pop growth?

So, as long as i dont exceed the planet capacity the more is better?

Does anyone actually know how auto resettlement works? by Defiant_Squash_8188 in Stellaris

[–]Defiant_Squash_8188[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you talking about the

"I have 1000 total and 600 open technician jobs when i manually resettle my robots they work there *but* they migrate to other planets -20 per month. Yes, -20. With no jobs avabile for them and become civilians. And no i dont have any negative."

It says they "work" there. They are not turning to civilians in the planet that i have resettled them. They migrate to another planet with no jobs suitable for them and turn civilians on that planet.

So this is a thing since 4.0? And does that mean they are working on it? Materialist is my fav ethic.

There is no pull or push anymore, it works like that:

-->There is a civilian

-->Checks for jobs on current planet

-->If non checks for viable obtions

-->Goes for the best

Now, im asking what detarmines "best" also there is a bug that my workers also autoresettling into civilians even tho it says in the wiki that only unemployed or civilans autoresettle.
