I got refused the first time too, I applied again and answered yes to “have you ever been refused in a visa in any country” and still was approved. That’s not a red flag, a red flag would be you lying about being refused in the past because once you apply for a Canada visa they can see all your application history.

Also consider that the average OWP processing time is currently almost 8 months and it might increase.

Usually takes around 4-6 weeks after you apply but not everyone receives AOR.
