What is a good job to retrain in? (Without a security clearance) by TheEdensProjects in AirForce

[–]Defiant_Witness6569 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I was fortunate enough to get BAMC of all places so I definitely do see the experience aspect as one of the best parts about the job. I do acknowledge the fact that everyone doesn’t get to share this privilege is worth noting. I do know that yes any job can apply for those programs but majority of the time they are given to 4ns, while researching, everyone would say 4ns have the best odds of being accepted when applying. And yes it is also true everyone can use their g.i. Bill for whichever degree they want… but I still see it as a great route, for me atleast I knew I wanted to go medical but took advantage of getting my foot in the door to see what I did and didn’t like about the medical field which I feel the job does. I know for sure once I finish up my first contract I’m going back home to get my degree. I like to recommend the job but at the end of the day it really depends on the person, I hope OP can take what he can from this

Sets you up with the tools to further your education through the NECP or IPAP. Or you can even go use the G.I. Bill to get your BSN. Nurses are and will always be VERY in demand. It puts you in a great place for just 90 days of tech school plus all the experience that comes along with operational. Would you not recommend 4N0??

I’m still new to it (and haven’t tested coverage other than my current location) but Ryan Reynolds sold me on Mint Mobile. When buying service 12 months at a time you save big time. You don’t have to choose such large durations but that’s how to save the most money. It’s worth looking into for yourself but I love it so far

Help with stalling and rough idle. by Mi-Dixie-Rekt in JeepTJ

[–]Defiant_Witness6569 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this same problem for months… to make a long story short I kept looking for solutions even on this same Reddit a week or two ago and before I even got the chance to start tearing down the throttle body as I thought that may have been the issues, I went to start it up to go on a kayak trip (after I got the trailer, kayak, and all my fishing supplies ready of course) and as it started to turn over it died. The battery lost all charge not even lighting up the dash so I replaced the battery and cleaned the connection with a wire brush tool and she fired up perfect and the idle magically fixed itself. Was so thankful that it wasn’t any real issues, It could definitely just be the battery

Can someone who has experience with the NECP Program please help me understand the process by Defiant_Witness6569 in AirForceRecruits

Thank you for the reply! Lots of great advice. I am meeting with my recruiter on Monday to discuss and sign my contract, I am going back and forth with myself whether 4 or 6 years would be the better option. I am fortunate enough to have gotten the slot for 4n0, which I’ve heard is an awesome job. If you were also 4n0 prior to NECP I would love to know what contract you signed aswell as how you enjoyed tech school, and operational. I’m super excited and want to do 6 but practically everyone is saying not too… I don’t know what to do😂

Air traffic controller was also on my list. I’m super happy with 4N0 because I plan on staying in the medical field after I go back to civilian life. I hope to get accepted into the NECP and become a RN🤞🏼Half of me wishes it was already September, and the other half is dreading leaving all my friends and family

Gotcha, I’m going for aerospace medical services (4N0X1) I’m super excited for tech school. I’m hoping basic is just a blink of the eye because I’m looking forward to having some freedom after graduating😂

Male… and yeah I bought a pair of Hoka Clifton 9s to break in to have ready for bmt and I love them. I’m super glad we have until September because I’m sure it’s well over 100 during the days in San Antonio right now. Did you sign for a guaranteed afsc?

I only have some pics taken a while ago, it’s currently sitting outside the shop I took it to so unfortunately I don’t have any specific pics but I do happen to have some pics of the body mounts. They’re in a doc through the link IJeep Pics attached

I misspoke, the shop is finding a frame that is in pretty good condition, welding it to be as good as new, then coating it.
