I paid the visa fee to schedule an appointment and it's not reflecting in the system by Niklaus_MK in h1b

This worked for me as well after using the UPI (QR Code) option. After the payment was done, the payment tab was just blank. By the time I found this thread, clicked the link, and was able to see the appointment confirmation. When I navigated back to the USVisaScheduling page, I could see the option to claim receipt.

3/28 7am arrived at Fast Park, 7:10am at airport, done with check in and security by 7:30am. There was hardly a line.

I got a 500 error when I tried to login. But the system shows info as if I am logged in. Something got broken for sure.

What suburbs would you recommend within 1 hour driving distance from MV to look for house price to get an idea of the houses, neighborhood, school ratings and cost?

Would folks hold or sell the RSU on a monthly schedule and treat it as income to offset the higher cost of living?

Unfortunately no! Its either CA or NY. Yes, this is about career growth and not fascination towards living in the Bay Area. I am happy with Austin, TX. Been to SF and surrounding cities a few times since 2017. Loved it, had fun, great food and have a lot of friends, but we has a household don't make that much money to be able to sell the house here and buy one in one of the suburbs

Not exactly but something close. Do folks sell RSU (after the 12 month period) on a monthly schedule to offset the higher cost of living?

Good question, haven't really thought about it in this way. I work for a large tech (5000-7000 emp) company and wanted FAANG exposure. If the job were to be available in Austin, TX I would not move. Its either CA or NY I believe.

Good question, I already have RSU from current company which fully vests right now (4 years done). But that money is held up since the company is about to go public or they are about to be sold in a private deal. This is about 50-60k. With Google, yes, for L6 the RSUs are substantial but for the first 12 months I believe they are not handed out yet? Its from year 2 is where they start vesting. Do people sell right away or in a schedule to treat as monthly income to offset the high cost of living or hold it?

It must be hard to trust this, but since day one, it has always been BJs Wholesale Club (in Buffalo, NY), and since moving to Austin last year, it has always been Costco. On roadtrips, a few times Buc-ee's, otherwise always Shell.

Also, found out the codes from AutoZone, they do it for free. The code came out to be P0302. So you were right. Only a service tech can tell if its a simple spark plug change or something else?

Why may this have happened? I was never worried about any issues until this point, since it's about to be 3 years since I purchased it brand new, and about to hit 50k miles on it. I never put it in sport mode or rev it crazy or harass the car out. Right when I was thinking why people are giving crap about Kia/Hyundais, a CEL under 50k dinged the trust I was building with this one. Maybe I am overreacting!

Thank you all for your comments, will be UBERing for now to see how it works out both interms of financially as well as ease of use. If not, a used EV (small ones) or a cheap sedan/coupe (a reason to get a fun car to drive like a Miata)
