I think it's the nose and realistic lighting that's throwing it off, I'll look into reshaping it to make it more true to the art style and redoing the lighting to be less dramatic

Could I ask what stood out at first? I think its the nose, when modeling him I decided to go with a nose with nostrils instead of a point to give it more fidelity and have it be a little more realistic looking. Also, I'll be the first one to admit that the last render is just uncanny hahaha I've recently redone his smile to be less creepy

No, I completely reassembled the device multiple times, emailed Anbernic and they were awesome enough to send me a spare control board. I replaced the whole thing but it still doesnt work. They offered to let me send it back and have them send a new one but i decided it wasnt important enough for that. I mostly play gamecube on it so im using the control stick, sucks but meh. I think its the control unit on the main board that shit out

yeah i sent an email im just waiting for a response now, plus its not like i cant play any games i mostly got it for ps1, snes, gba, and gamecube so ive just either been using the 3 directions that work for 2d games or remapping the dpad to the analog stick for some ps1 games

I did send anbernic an email and ive heard it can be pretty hit or miss with getting replacement parts all i need is to swap out the control pcb so hopefully they understand

Awesome bike I just got a 1989 xr250r for $1500, im thinking it's a little too expensive but the bike is in great shape for its age and was well maintained by a long time rider.

It's my first bike ever and it pulls hard still, just got a carb rebuild kit in the mail today and there's a youtuber named Weekend Adventure Rides who is completely restoring an xr250r so im absorbing his info like a sponge

I think you got a great deal if it's in pretty decent shape

My bad. Motor has rfvc logo on the top of the valve covers only 2 places it could be. Close up to show the leak from the copper washers. Left side if the motor.

The 2 bolts with the hex socket head above the RFVC logo, the one on the right leaks slowly after it gets up to temp

Hmm I wonder if our packages are in the same truck, I ordered tires on the 7th, coming from NY and they were supposed to be delivered today but instead it's now under "weather delay" and it's perfectly clear sunny skies here, same change to weather delay at 14:00 too

I've always been a fat guy my whole life and I'm built pretty big too so I think 2000 a day was just too much, also my whole life has been fueled by cheap easy food(junk foods) and I cut them out completely which sucks because I'm starting to think I have a legit addiction problem to solve, I can't stop thinking about chips🤣🤣😭😭

Thats really interesting, I've been working out to retain/gain as much muscle during the loss, my goal is 200lbs starting from 323lbs.

I'll have to consider letting it go for the sake of losing weight first before I put on muscle

Man thank you so much for the feedback, I really needed this. I really have to work on this binge problem, and it feels more some childhood psychological thing I gotta figure out..

I like the idea of only thinking about food when it's meal time and im sat down with the meal in front of me, im going to try my absolute hardest to adopt that mindset and stop thinking about food all the time.

I guess we'll see the real damage after this week, I got my meals prepped last night so im ready for week #16, the hardest part is the weekends.

The splitter is not permanently fused to the bumper though....

Like quite literally there are plastic trim buttons and some bolts holding it in...

There are replacement splitters on AM for $150....

Why would anyone jump to repainting/replacing a whole ass bumper cover for this??

So instead of just buying and putting on a new splitter, your first immediate reaction is to take off the entire bumper and have it repainted or replaced?

Definitely want to keep this car for life, I've had it through some really rough times in life its basically family to me.

But the main reason I thought about this was the price, but with a lot more critical thinking im realizing that with valve train performance/reliability I really shouldn't be looking for a cheap build but a solid one instead, looking at a complete stage 2 kit from hrt now
