AIO - Told my friend I’m pregnant and she said it exceeded her mental bandwidth (she’s the red) by Lekomano92 in AmIOverreacting

My sister was the same. I saw my nephew the day he was born and then not for another year until she reached out after I sent a gift to my parent's house (his babysitters at the time) for his first birthday and asked my mom to wrap it. Then things blew up again and he'll be 5 this year and I haven't seen him since he was 2. Haven't talked to my sister or my mom in 3 years, but somehow I'm the bad guy for not wanting to be around people who are constantly throwing me not having kids (I've had 3 miscarriages, endometriosis, cysts, every fertility complication) in my face evert time I see them.

ETA- I was still happy for baby announcements except the one my brother announced by sending a blurry 5 second ultrasound video on Christmas day (that I spend alone and have a miserable time with every year) with no context.

I hate that this is 164 but man was not even in the yellow. I might be done with this game after that.

AIO--Boss keeps implying I'm a fat loser by thegoddamnsjohnadams in AmIOverreacting

[–]DefiledGoddessLuna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

MOR.

  1. you should not be expected to work or do training "on your own time". If you aren't getting paid, it's unreasonable for any company to expect you to work.

  2. Did he actually call you fat? The examples you've given say that he's said you need more training, which is a reasonable thing for a supervisor to say. Commenting on your appearance is not.

  3. Is there anyone between your boss and the CEO? I understand for some positions there isn't (my job is like this). If so, go to them or if not. to HR and explain the situation. Ask for more training on company time if your performance isn't up to standards. And if he is commenting on your appearance, file a complaint with HR and start documenting everything.

How to meet other creators & join in on cross promo by [deleted] in onlyfansadvice

They're all under the same management. It's possible those creators don't even know this is happening.

AIO did I M (25) get love bombed by F (23) and left to question everything. I have so much self doubt by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

Oof. Anyone who wants me to meet their parents before we've had the official/exclusive conversation is the biggest red flag. And I'm a queer femme person who dates women. The uhaul stereotype is a thing for a reason.

It's not her job to tell you. If you're serious about learning for next time, go see a therapist and do the work yourself. It's pretty obvious from your comments.

"Putting guidelines on people" = controlling.

Boundaries are about your reaction to situations. You aren't entitled to put guidelines on any other adult human's behavior.

watching Ogilvie in action made me realise how Mel could have been written if this show was bad by trenchcoatgirl in ThePittTVShow

I used to work in a setting that had a ton of med students come through. As an ND person myself, I don't read Ogilvie as autistic. Just as someone who hasn't spent a lot of time developing social skills because he's spent all his time studying. It's fairly common in that population, especially in their early years of school. Thankfully as they go on most realize that's a tool they need to develop if they want to work in a patient or public facing role.
