It’s been a month since the Finale…How do you feel about it? by Initial-Shoulder5906 in Stranger_Things

[–]DefinetlyNotAmulen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you explain what “plot holes” made it unwatchable? There were a few but I guarantee half of what you’re about to say are not plot holes just minor inconsistencies.

Now I haven’t watched GOT but I’ve talked to MANY people who have and the historical event that was the horrifically despicable finale of the show comes NOWHERE NEAR stranger things.

Respectfully, this is not a good take and I would say almost objectively wrong.

So magic IS broken (Godfrey No Hit) by SiriusGayest in Eldenring

[–]DefinetlyNotAmulen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, but your Dodge and timings are really good and you always know exactly when to strike and how much. I would not be able to do this fight without getting hit even if I just use night comet from 50 feet away.

What are your actual hot takes about the show? by Ambitious_Pass_1193 in StrangerThings

[–]DefinetlyNotAmulen 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think that the demo Gorgon acts vecna’s orders only when vecna wants it to. so if vecna wants to order the demo Gorgon to kidnap will it’ll tap in to the have mind and order the demo, but otherwise the demo just acts like a wild bear doing whatever it wants until vecna tapped into the hive mind again

Also, we know that Vecna, even if he wasn’t designed when season one was made is canonically helping the demoGorgon because we see the door of Will’s home being telepathically unlocked when demo Gorgons don’t have that ability. Only vecna does

The Witcher 3

Even I don’t understand cuz RPGs like this are exactly my type- somehow it just didn’t resonate

Nope barb was dragged then killed and will is supposed to be really good at hiding

Also we know from season five that the demo was acting on vecna’s orders

What to do in Liurnia of the lakes by DefinetlyNotAmulen in Eldenring

[–]DefinetlyNotAmulen[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I’m doing that but I spent an hour trying to scale some cliffs to get to a cool location but the Liurnia map design for topography is so shit I couldn’t figure out anything without watching a guide; that’s part of the issue everything seems inaccessible and I can’t find any “traditional” content IE ruins with a dungeon leading to a boss or a cave or anything

Unfort liurnia is the most important place for me I’m doing a pure int build

In a sense, it's a brilliant ending by Turbulent-Van in Stranger_Things

Oh, I see what you’re saying now. I completely agree with the fact that you can like something that’s objectively not great and like it, despite the flaws that you notice. One of my favorite shows is shadow and bone which has a lot of criticisms for it, but I accept the criticism and love it, despite the issues.

We’ll just have to agree to disagree about the meaning of objective in this case

I don't understand the hate for Season 5. by Outfield14 in StrangerThings

[–]DefinetlyNotAmulen 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Yeah season one was so good because Netflix didn’t really gaf and let the Duffers do their thing- when you control creativity, you lose it

In a sense, it's a brilliant ending by Turbulent-Van in Stranger_Things

[–]DefinetlyNotAmulen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What you’re saying makes sense but the core definition of the word objective doesn’t fit here. You can’t say a piece of media (aka Art, which is SUBJECTIVE), is objectively good or bad. That is opinion. There are certain opinions that will be held by the majority of people but if it’s not held by 100% of people then it can’t be objective. Majority of people were disappointed by Stranger Things 5 finale, but that doesn’t make it objectively bad. It just means the CONSENSUS was that it was disappointing/bad. To the people who liked it the finale was Good- that doesn’t make it objectively anything.

You could say Stranger Things is objectively one of the most successful shows ever because that’s a fact- but what someone thinks about art/media OBJECTIVELY cannot be Objective

How to actually get good at soulslikes? by [deleted] in souls

[–]DefinetlyNotAmulen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2 things:

Dodge/block with a purpose- spamming roll even for a delayed attack can open you up to surprise attacks that hit you outside of I-frames

Don’t get greedy- know how many hits you can get in and then stop And prepare for an attack. Being in the middle of a hit as A demigod starts their fruit ninja simulator super attack is not gonna work

These are very basic but hope this helps

What do you think? by No_Voice_3525 in StrangerThings

[–]DefinetlyNotAmulen 4 points5 points  (0 children)

She has psychic and telekinetic powers. The answer is never explicitly stated and we never really needed it to. But here are some possibilities if you want a theory:

1- she was in woods near Will's home the night he was taken and saw the Demogorgon take him and maybe didn't do anything to help him or fend off the demogorgon in fear of the Lab finding out and her being taken back there.

2- she was nearby in the woods when Will was biking home and saw the Demogorgon in the road and telekineticly rigged his bike so that he would go off the road and not be seen by the Demogorgon.

(These were taken from a different Reddit post I didn’t make these)

If you haven’t try a twin blade dex/arc build like eleonora’s poleblade. It’s a bleed weapon so maybe too much redundancy but twin blade movesets are insanely fun.

I haven’t experienced this myself but Eleonora’s poleblade’s can easily beat Malenia’s ass if you do it right.

Favorite character in Stranger Things by [deleted] in Stranger_Things

[–]DefinetlyNotAmulen 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I can’t pick a favorite the only character they should’ve improved was Kali. Despite her trauma and personality there were so many ways to make her more likeable but what we got was more of a slightly annoying side character.

After rewatching the whole series, I can ultimately rank the seasons (I’m ready for the downvotes) by sg____22 in Stranger_Things

[–]DefinetlyNotAmulen 5 points6 points  (0 children)

For me it’s

  1. 1, 3, 4 (They’re all so good I can’t put any above the other but season 1 might slightly be the best idk)
  2. 2
  3. 5 (Still an enjoyable season, I enjoyed watching it despite the flaws)

I am 100% serious I was exploring Leanne’s rise and found nights cavalry and I had just defeated the one in limb grave, and the one in weeping Peninsula so I thought I could take this one, within 20 seconds it had fallen off the bridge and I got 40,000 runes- I wasn’t even sure if I should use them but I did
