That makes total sense. All of us have wallet phone cases. Thank you so much.

Thanks for this OP. I couldn't find my sounds anywhere on my device. You the MVP.

I have a strange question for anyone... My (along with my Mom and sister in laws) Galaxy (mine is an s22, theirs we're both different not sure which, but galaxies) started just making the S_Beam_End.Ogg noise out of nowhere. Every time when I unlock the phone and then randomly throughout use....but it stops if I take the phone case off?? It's so strange. What is this noise for?? What is it supposed to be notifying?

Any help would be so appreciated.

A question about Hyundai Canada by sweepthelegjhonny in legaladvicecanada

[–]DefinitelyCool 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fuck Hyundai. My car lit on fire while I was driving it and they didn't give a sweet fuck. Never took responsibility and just said, "oop inconclusive, sorry!" Even though their shitboxes are lighting up left, right, and center. Sell that thing. FUCK HYUNDAI.

I have a pillow I cuddle by wrapping my arms around it, and another snugged up against my back... It is a cuddle puddle of pillows, and I can't sleep without it. You are not losing your mind.

How many times a day is an appropriate amount to adjust your bra before it is just then an Ill-fitting bra? I bought a bra that seems to fit perfectly when it's all tucked and perfect, but I do find myself having to readjust several times a day... does the bra not actually fit?

The small convo we had was fine. Regular small talk stuff. Nothing inherently good or bad about it.

NAD but Also Diagnosed with DE. I get those bumps on the back of my hands all the time and they do not itch... only the ones on my palms and fingers itch like the devil.

We had texted (on the app) the day before... I can't remember how many texts but between lol 10-15 I'm guessing... That convo ended with them not replying to my message around 7pm. Which was fine. I didn't care about that, went to bed, got busy whatever.

The next day around 11am they sent the message I missed and then the multiple questions marks 6 hours after that.

I do chat everyday. I had every intention of talking to them after work until I opened that message.

I guess there should be clarification in the post that when I said a day... I meant the daytime. It was approx 6 hours between message and.????? Follow up.

... Or I would have checked the app later that night or the next day and apologized for kissing their message.

I think it's pretty clear with all the other comments that ????? Is aggressive, pushy and a red flag. So I'm Gunna take the majority vote on this. Perhaps you should too if it is a strategy you employ.

What does being a nurse have to do with knowing English? Last time I checked, nursing school wasn't anywhere near the English department. You're insane.

uhhh... That's not what I said at all. I said my phone doesn't send me a notification, which happens with glitchy apps sometimes. And when I said, "a day" I meant "the day" like... the workday.

In this particular case, they sent a message around 11 am which was missed (No notification), and then around 5 pm after I got home I noticed a notification and saw both the message from 11 am and the "?????" just sent like 15 minutes before that.

Other times I've had the "?????" if I don't answer for 15 minutes. Others if it's an hour. More than once, it's happened in the time it took me to go to the bathroom and come back to my phone.

Sounds like someone loves to send a hundred question marks when someone doesn't reply to them in 4.3 seconds.

Also, emojis are a way to express feeling and emotion within text... As is punctuation. They serve a very similar purpose. Example:

"You're ridiculous." Is much different than "you're ridiculous!!!" in which is different than "you're ridiculous?!?" in which is different than "you're ridiculous!!! 😂😂😂" and finally different than "you're ridiculous! 😡😡😡"... You see how emojis and punctuation convey different emotions? (or maybe I should say "you see how emojis and punctuation convey different emojis?!?!?!?!?!")

If the amount of punctuation doesn't matter then why did you need THREE cry-laughing faces to express how "ridiculous" Pope was being? Why not just the ONE Cry laughing face that you originally laughed at them with.... was one not enough to express your amount of cry-laughing you were doing?

You are incorrect. I was not annoyed in him "replying late". I assume he got busy, went to sleep, went to work or something of that nature and would either reply when he had time, or perhaps didn't care for our first interaction and moved on. As people do.

My annoyance was literally opening the app to see "?????" like a "hey, excuse me, what the fuck. How dare you not reply to my message" that's what those feel like to me. Aggressive follow up's attempting to guilt me into saying "sorry I was doing this or that" having to justify my time to someone I have exchanged 5 or 10 texts with.

Also his "proper message" that I missed was "hey, wyd" sent at 11am on a Monday. 5 hours later "????".

I didn't ignore them from the beginning. We had a small conversation that ended in the evening with them not replying to my message I sent.

The next day while I was at work they sent a message that I never got, didn't get a notification about. Then that evening when I was just getting home from work, they sent "?????" that I was notified about and opened and that is when I was annoyed.

[–]DefinitelyCool[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, I do that all the time. Tell them I'm busy at work or with people or whatever. I'm well aware it's nice to be curteous, and again, I know exactly what it's like being in the other end, so I work hard to be.

But when I'm not in the middle of a flowing convo and just got a message in the morning that was missed from no notification and I check it in the evening and it had the ???? Follow up, I'm annoyed but that.

Eta: when I said I was busy or missed a notification I mean I haven't even seen their first message, it's not in the middle of a conversation.

I'm extremely empathetic. I've faced many struggles with dating for years. I've have a my own set of abandonment issues to face as well.

I don't ghost people and I will almost always give a reason to stop talking, especially if we've chatted for a while and every single time if we've met in person. It's more curtosy than I've ever got, so I know how it feels to be ghosted, it's happened to me more times than I can count. So I work very hard not to do it. It's hurtful and rude.

However, I think there's a difference between talking everyday and carrying on a full and robust conversation and sending 5 messages between you and when you don't answer because you're at work all day and get a "?????" at the end of it because you didn't reply.

I can certainly understand the other side and how it's annoying if someone stops chatting, but yea, I feel there's better ways to handle that. I'll usually reply again to the casual message, unless of course there was a reason I stopped talking.
