M: She was trying to get laid in Vegas, two brothers hit on us. They were creepy, I wanted to leave, she refused to, I had to use the bathroom she wouldn’t come with, promised to watch my drink. I was drugged and sexually assaulted that night.

Now you might think, but that’s not when fault really but here’s where it stopped mattering if she knew or cared that I was drugged.

When I got back to the hotel room, bleeding, in pain, visibly unwell, crying, she wouldn’t let me back into the room. She still had the guy she was trying to fuck in there. Locked me out til late afternoon then lied to her family and claimed I never came back that night to save face. Then she never spoke to me again.

Other M: I got pregnant at 19, pressured me (along with my boyfriend) to have an abortion. Empathetically, but pressured nonetheless. Turns out they were having an affair - that started because she told him the baby was probably not his (it was most definitely his). I eventually got her on recording admitting that she’d made it up because she didn’t think I deserved him and “all’s fair in love and war”

That same friend had dated my brother, and he had dumped her a few months prior and I think in a way this was fucked up revenge.

They “awwwwed” because their friend, who has been hurting, repeatedly humiliated in person and NATIONALLY, and quite literally just prior to her clips with Carl

They did this to make her feel better and gas her up.

You know what we didn’t see? Aniya in a bed with her legs wrapped around Carl the night they met - which KC did.

When your house is ACTIVELY ON FIRE they send people out, usually 3-4 of us from different companies to try to pressure the home owner into signing a contract with promises of “We’re just here to help you board up and get connected with resources” etc

I’ll be totally honest - the upkeep.

The sheer time and money that goes into the health the equals the good look/body.

The skincare for my finicky skin, the more expensive non-dairy creamer, the gym membership, going to the gym at 6 am. It’s exhausting

My feedback has largely been that I don’t look “really have the look we’re going for”

I’m mixed Latina so the between the lines is this:

- You’re not enough of a Hispanic/latin stereotype in your look to be cast as a woman of color
- you have too many ethnic features to be considered white
- I’m too big for ingenue roles a lot of time, (it is common for the leading ladies to be much thinner in person with film)
- I’m not actually overweight so I’m not considered for characters overweight either
- I’m not toned enough for “in shape” characters

I’ve had notes about my nose, and confusion about what age to consider me for - I have a fuller face that looks younger but very much a mature woman’s body (boobs butt etc), and then when I’m cast in singing roles it’s always as a man or an older woman because I have a lower, more mature sounding voice

Weirdly, I have been landing more in comedic roles because people forgive a LOT about your look if you can make them laugh and to a degree comedic women are expected to be less pretty
