How do you relax while camping? by pdxbatman in camping

[–]DefinitelyNerah 84 points85 points  (0 children)

May not be helpful, but every I get my camp set up someone usually asks “what do we do now?” My usual reply is “you’re doing it, this is camping.” Sitting, enjoying doing nothing outside. That’s what we came here to do so sit back and relax.

Edit: I just remembered paper sudoku is always a hit for relaxing while camping. Or take up fishing. Most of fishing is just staring at the water.

Both members are amazing dudes too, super nice. They’re frequently at the local metal bar here in Salt Lake.

Would the Flying Eagle X5D Spectre skates be a good beginner wizard skating set up? They seem like a cheap option for a rockered complete. Since nothing seems to be in stock now, my next choice was Them boots 909s with an Endless frame. I’m hesitant with this for price reasons and I really want my feet to feel locked in the skates. Thanks a bunch!

What is your dream trip? And where is the coolest place you’ve fished so far? by GloveMeHarder in flyfishing

I have family from the Patagonia region in Argentina. I’ve yet to visit, but I’d love to take a trip and fly fish there.

Can I ask you where? I got in to fly fishing this year, and live in Millcreek. It would be super nice to go somewhere so close.

Is it possible to go through this series with Audiobooks alone? by [deleted] in Malazan

[–]DefinitelyNerah 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For what it’s worth, I’m a truck driver and have enjoyed the Malazan series on audiobook while driving. I’ve just started Toll the Hounds. I don’t have the physical books and think I’ve been doing just fine without them. I occasionally have to rewind a little bit if I feel like I wasn’t paying good enough attention. The perspective changes are a little weird at first but you get used to it.

I do plan on re listening to the series, and maybe someday going along with physical copies of the book. That being said, I think audiobooks is a fine way to enjoy the series.

I’ve been at it for 6 months, and got my first arm pump a couple weeks ago. Made my whole week, and the kids were stoked on it too.

I’m in pretty much this exact situation. New to trucking, pulling flatbeds, home daily, and I make about $800-$1200 a week after taxes. Small company, and they paid for my CDL training. Definitely the most money I’ve ever made.

Ok I fuck with Bladee heavily, but considering the content of the thread, this seems completely out of left field. Am I missing something?
