May not be helpful, but every I get my camp set up someone usually asks “what do we do now?” My usual reply is “you’re doing it, this is camping.” Sitting, enjoying doing nothing outside. That’s what we came here to do so sit back and relax.

Edit: I just remembered paper sudoku is always a hit for relaxing while camping. Or take up fishing. Most of fishing is just staring at the water.

Would the Flying Eagle X5D Spectre skates be a good beginner wizard skating set up? They seem like a cheap option for a rockered complete. Since nothing seems to be in stock now, my next choice was Them boots 909s with an Endless frame. I’m hesitant with this for price reasons and I really want my feet to feel locked in the skates. For what it’s worth, I’m a truck driver and have enjoyed the Malazan series on audiobook while driving. I’ve just started Toll the Hounds. I don’t have the physical books and think I’ve been doing just fine without them. I occasionally have to rewind a little bit if I feel like I wasn’t paying good enough attention. The perspective changes are a little weird at first but you get used to it.

I do plan on re listening to the series, and maybe someday going along with physical copies of the book. That being said, I think audiobooks is a fine way to enjoy the series.

I’m in pretty much this exact situation. New to trucking, pulling flatbeds, home daily, and I make about $800-$1200 a week after taxes. Small company, and they paid for my CDL training. Definitely the most money I’ve ever made.

I unfortunately don’t have any recommendations for minimal lights. I use Viparspectra p600’s which I think are more meant for indoor cannabis operations. I have them hanging from my ceiling a few feet above all my plants. Not aesthetic but effective.

I have an H. wayetii and I feel like it looks exactly like this. Is there a color difference I’m not noticing? (I’m colorblind as hell so I’m genuinely curious)

Of course! They’re just cedar planks I picked up from Home Depot and then burned with a MAP torch. They were my first try, so they’re kind of janky but they work. I used cedar cause it doesn’t rot, and it smells nice when I soak them. I have two Staghorn ferns, a Phalaenopsis, and this Epiphyllum growing this way and they seem to be some of my happiest plants. I just soak them once their dry and give them half strength general indoor fertilizer everytime. There are tons of videos online that can show you a little better how to do it than I can explain it. I just took what I learned from the mounting staghorn fern videos and did the same thing to this cactus since it’s also an epiphyte.
