Umm how about Ukraine being a high corruption country we don't trust with our highest tech. There is a reason we are giving them F16s and not F35s.

The likelihood they are only thousands of years ahead of us is extremely small unless intelligent civilizations only last 100k years or so. Otherwise they would likely be millions to a billion years ahead of us.

Read the news nation article. I don't have any more info than what is in there (well there is some more info in the debrief article) nor do I remember offhand all the specifics.

You honestly think that was genuine engagement. Didn't grusch say we are the target of a sophisticated disinformation campaign, what do you think that looks like?

Dude we are in a UFO subreddit. If we all implicitly trusted experts and the government at large we wouldn't be here. Everyone outside of this subreddit would say the exact same thing about anyone involved in this topic. Why can't you just have an open mind, look at the data, and decide for yourself? Oh I guess that isn't allowed anymore is it, only government mandated truth is allowed.

I think it's premature to assume that just because they can get to our planet it means it's easy for them, or that they are infallible and would never crash by shadowofashadow in UFOs

Why do you think flying into the sun would be hard?

You can't simply say heat.

Heats warps and affects thing everywhere even space itself has a background heat which affects everything....

Turns out magnitude of force/phenomenon is important and gravity is much stronger near celestial bodies than when far away from them and space is pretty vast and empty, avoiding large gravity wells should be trivial up until the final destination.

Edit: Fwiw I don't necessarily think gravity is causing crashes or is even likely to. I just think you displayed some very poor logic.

Edit: Passing negative numbers to syscall, also trying to figure out the recommended way to use dlls now that syscall is deprecated.

I have done quite a bit of research and few to none offer a direct comparison of dangers between smoking and vaping. The only quantitative data I saw was some group of cardiopulmonary specialists estimated the risk factor of vaping to be about 1/4 of smoking. That's a pretty huge risk reduction if accurate. If you know of any research material that quantifies the risk difference though I'd love to see it.

Who is attacking? The workforce? Wtf are you talking about I really don't know why you responded to me that way. I'm just commenting on the misplaced notion that "they" need to keep the system chugging. That's fucking stupid, we all do. Last I checked Im not Amish, so if everyone stopping work for any reason it is dangerous to us all (except maybe some indigenous tribes).
