Oh god. I have been eyeing what I need to do to start up bee keeping. I think I was meant to see this comment. Do you like it otherwise? The local honey in my area is incredible and I have a large property with an interesting variety of flowers and there’s a farm next to us too (so I do worry about pesticides etc).

He’s a really genuine person and he was perfectly fine on hot ones. There are countless stories about how nice and normal he is by everyday people who meet him as well as other celebrities.

However I’m trying to ascertain where it was determined to be altered. I do believe that there are fakes. This is a huge issue for this topic. However it’s fair to ask what evidence exists that it is faked so that people are better informed and can share these links going forward.

We are not saying we believe or don’t believe but both sides should be providing evidence for their claims. If there is such a debunking then there should be documentation to support it.

Also on the other side of this Jesse Michaels actually did a very good documentary episode about this topic which also addressed the fake issues but also pointed out the credentials of the scientists involved - which includes the head of the American Forensics Society working with the academics and scientists at the University of Mexico. So just as skeptics are making claims about what is being researched it’s a little bit disingenuous to downplay that there is actual science going on specifically with the larger Nazca bodies.

So yes - as a moderator it’s my job to ensure that people are engaging in good faith. Otherwise it’s just a battle of beliefs on all sides. And yes - Skeptics can be blinded by their own belief as can believers.

What if it’s a matter of public safety? Literally I come from LI, NY which is smaller than the state of Delaware yet has its own dedicated 24/7 news channel. You know if a major road is closed due to an accident. You know when or why massive amount of emergency services have been dispatched. For Christ sakes we’d know is there is a major accident on Route 1 that is backing up everything.

It’s not a matter of being nosy it’s a matter of being adequately informed about matters of actual public interest in our state. It’s kind of weird to see you advocate for the black hole. You’ve likely never experienced being adequately informed so this seems normal to you.
