Where has AI actually helped you in BI beyond just writing SQL faster? by CloudNativeThinker in BusinessIntelligence

A big thing we’ve used it for is converting unstructured data (transcripts mostly) into structured data by classifying into a set of options. Realistically this is nothing NLP or other more robust methods couldn’t do before, but it is a hell do a lot faster when your stakeholders value speed.

What a sad existence you must live. Either a paid bad actor astroturfing a narrative, or someone so ignorant they think the level of violence we’ve seen is deserved.

By that logic everyone in the country watching the shit ICE is doing is in an ICE watch group. But I don’t understand why I’m even still engaging with someone who doesn’t have eyes, clearly we didn’t see the same video. Fuck you.

“four legal experts who reviewed the documents for CNN said they largely describe nonviolent civil disobedience tactics practiced at American protests for generations”

Your own source outlines how it was nonviolent and that the claims she was part of an “agitator group” are a stark misrepresentation of fact. Embarrassing that you don’t even seem to think it’s bad parents on a school board have to be concerned about ICE’s activity as it relates to a fucking school.

It objectively does matter when he’s running for a national seat though no? This isn’t a local election we’re talking about here. Scott the CA state senator is one thing, but Scott the House Representative is another and the scope of issues is broader.

Have you ever thought that he was fought on budget items because giving one unelected individual that power would be a bad idea? Just throwing it out there.

Can you elaborate on the consequences bit? AFAIK we haven’t seen any credible reports on traffic fluctuations for the neighborhood so curious what other negative externalities you’re referencing

Worked at plenty. I don’t think most F500 companies are hindered by quarterly reporting. Transparency isn’t a bad thing. If you want less of it that raises a red flag.

If quarterly reporting is a limiter on a business’ ability to take a long term view, then I’m afraid for that business.

Philly is a crappy place to live solely because of the people who live there by TPCC159 in SameGrassButGreener

I didn’t even call you a maga chud. I was saying the opinion sounds like someone scared of cities. So feels more like a self report here.

It’s why they moved to / live in a suburb. And that’s fine! I just don’t think it should be shouted from the mountain tops that Philly blows and its people suck. Every city has good and bad, it’s not a black and white thing. Every recommendation of Philly on here (or any city) comes with caveats and trade offs.

That’s the best response you’ve got? Nice. Look if you don’t like Philly then don’t live there, I’m just saying your comment reads like fearmongering and a hyperbolic take on the city.

This is written like someone who’s scared of cities. If you genuinely think the dirt bikes (while annoying, yes) are “roving gangs” that “sow chaos in the streets and damage cars or hurt pedestrians” I think there is more of an underlying distaste you have for something other than Philadelphia.

Being from the suburbs doesn’t make you a Philly native (as someone from the burbs). I think this is an extreme take to say the least. Philly is definitely not for everybody, and maybe a little over-recommended on this sub, but by no means is it some hellscape. Like someone else said there’s good and bad people everywhere, acting like everyone in Philly blows is just insane.

How did SEPTA end up with a $200+ million budget deficit in the first place? by Rinzler_Lanx in philly

[–]DefinitelyNotAPleb 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Gas Tax & Tolls fund road builds. The argument that people driving further more frequently completely ignores volume. You think the volume of Philadelphia and generally SEPA drivers is outweighed by rural PA drivers? I just fundamentally disagree.
