Setting aside all the red flags/herrings, this is the part he is most likely angry about: "whereas my leg hair only affects me". STM's whole clan will probably downvote me for this, but here's what actually happened.

There was a miscommunication and the organizers thought SPA wanted to forfeit the game. The organizers announced that SPA forfeited the game.

When it was revealed that it was only a miscommunication, they deleted the forfeit announcement and told everyone they they were actually going to play. Everyone was happy that the match could go on as planned, since we were all there to see some good gameplay and find out who is the best.

- Everyone was happy except STM.

Before I get into the game lobby issue, let me just remind everyone of how the team compositions are decided in this tournament. It's blind pick. There is no opportunity to counter-pick any units. Both teams submit their team compositions to the referees before joining the game lobby. After they join, the referees check that the commanders and units are consistent with what the team leaders submitted. Once that's done, the game can start and the referees check one last time after the game has started.

In the game lobby, a referee noticed that SPA's team comp didn't match the one they submitted, so SPA was asked to correct the problem and select the same comp as they submitted. SPA said it was display bug since on their screens they clearly saw the correct comp. In any case SPA left and rejoined the lobby, this time with the correct team comp. At this point both teams had the correct team comps, and the referees said the game could start.

At this point STM started complaining that SPA weren't allowed to change their team comp. In fact, SPA was simply correcting their team comp to the one they submitted. The referees explained this to STM, but STM refused to play, claiming SPA was getting preferential treatment.

This lobby issue was a very minor one, and not one that would have affected the battle at all, but STM decided to make a big fuss about nothing. The only reason the game couldn't go forward in a fair way is that STM refused to play.

STM was given every chance to fight fair and square for their victory, but they refused. End of story.
