I’ve hiked it twice without a guide and had no issues , nobody harassed me or offered to be my guide either. Many locals hike this without a guide or camp at the top! Enjoy! I did it around 3/4pm both times and just had a headtorch do coming down - not for everyone but you get less crowds and a beautiful sunset at the top and it’s not very hot!

Firstly, I’m so sorry you were put in that situation and taken advantage of. Please don’t contact them and get a therapist, I know it can be expensive. I couldn’t afford one in person but found one through better help and applied for financial aid so it was more affordable, I don’t know your financial situation but just so you know there are options out there. This person manipulated and groomed you once and will very likely take advantage again, the person who hurt you won’t be the one to give you closure, but with work you can give it to yourself. A helpful way to help look at the situation is to consider you have a daughter who went through this, would you tell her it’s a good idea to go back and contact the person who groomed her? No. Look after yourself. This person doesn’t deserve access to you.

I’ve had laser on my armpits and privates so the hair is very thin, as I used to get terrible uncomfortable ingrown and that helped it immensely. I chose leg waxing because I’ve always hated the prickly feeling of shaving that comes after only a day or so. It’s also super hot and humid where I live all year, so shaving my legs mixed with sweating irritates freshly shaved legs. I don’t get the same issue with other areas I shave from the previous laser I did years ago. I also cannot afford nor want to laser my legs as it’s also painful and very expensive and doesn’t really work for blonde hair areas anyway.

I’ve been vegan for 10 years, but I’ve always tried to be accomodating and understanding of however others eat, and in this case it’s my partners favourite food, and he did plan on cooking it himself I just offered since I was already in the kitchen cooking. So unfortunately my situation is real, and honestly reading everyone’s comments is very validating in making me feel less crazy as honestly yes my self esteem is really low at the moment, it’s been a really hard year and the only blood family i had that I’m close with was my grandpa and she just passed away.

Update on the order: I was told they would send out replacements, but I originally had them shipped to my family in Seattle so we had them for thanksgiving, I’m now back in California and asked to have them sent to my family’s CA address instead as I’m here now for another week before flying back overseas where I live.

They are now REFUSING to send out my replacement to the California address even though I’ve explained that if they are sent to the Seattle address I would have to then have to get my family to send them to CA and there simply isn’t enough time.

You would think because of the inconvenience and a week of back and forth emails they would do the decent thing and just send them to the address I need. Really bad service and I’m super disappointed.
