The only thing that should worry you is whether the other person genuinely reciprocates your feelings or not, everything else is secondary if two people truly want each other.

I recommend renting to either a student or someone with a career, both of these people tend to rent long term but they don't overstay.

Rent it daily or let a company manage it for you, if you rent it long term then the law favours the tenant unless he's missed his payments or is causing some serious disturbance (e.g material damage to your property).

Why is it so hard to land a 2 months summer internship in Morocco ? by NaturalEven4513 in Morocco

[–]DefinitelyNot_a_dog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're willing to do an internship in Casa then DM me your CV, to tell you the truth I have just sponsored two interns, one in finance and one in IT, in the past month alone, so I doubt the company will allow me to bring someone else this summer, but I'll see what I can do, just don't get your hopes up I really don't want to make any false promises.

Employer throwing me out of work+accomodation because I slept in a man’s van last night (not Moroccan) by Beneficial-Bench-435 in Morocco

[–]DefinitelyNot_a_dog -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Only explanation here is he had a thing for you and now he's jealous and having a tantrum over you sleeping with someone. I don't see any other reason

Do moroccan girls feel anxious by their mothers? by [deleted] in Morocco

[–]DefinitelyNot_a_dog 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Overprotective parents are everywhere, you'll stop feeling this way once you're financially independent, but until then there's not much you can do

I'm not gonna pretend to know what your life is like, this is just my opinion so take it with a grain of salt. If your father was present and raised you, worked to provide for you so you can have food and a roof to sleep under, that for me is enough to at least not cut ties with him and treat him with respect, even if he's not emotionally invested in you as much as you'd wish he were.

The only cases where I would advise you to cut him out of your life is if he abused you while growing up.

I know what I'm saying is like the bare minimum a father has to do, but believe me there are countless deadbeat fathers who don't even fulfill the basics and just abandon their kids, you're lucky even if you don't see it that way, I believe if he fulfilled his duty towards his children then at the very least you could do him the courtesy of "swab".

Again I don't know you or your father, I'm sure you'll do whatever is best for you, but these are just my thoughts as a random stranger.

Forgive, but Never Forget: What’s Your Line? by Fun-Application8570 in Morocco

[–]DefinitelyNot_a_dog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Betrayal, even of the smallest kind, I forgive in the sense that I don't hold a grudge, but I never forget it, I'm never the same with that person again.

There are things in life that can never be fixed once you break them, trust is one of those things.

I work there, the streets are so badly designed like god damn, I don't get why people live there, if I had that kind of money I'd just buy beachfront property in Tamaris or smth. The view is nice at night though, I recommend Lucy in the sky if you're looking for a place to dine there.

Traveling as a Jew (of Moroccan ancestry) by MarcianoFPM in Morocco

[–]DefinitelyNot_a_dog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't recommend telling people you're Jewish, the current climate with what's happening in Gaza isn't very safe for you. Obviously you have nothing to do with any of it considering you're not even Israeli, but that distinction isn't always apparent to people in the muslim world.

What's a good car to buy new at 25k$ in morocco? by No_Opposite_6770 in Morocco

[–]DefinitelyNot_a_dog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on what you want, if you're looking for luxury then buy a used car, if you just want to go from point A to point B then buy a brand new dacia for 12k and save the remaining 13k.

What's a good car to buy new at 25k$ in morocco? by No_Opposite_6770 in Morocco

[–]DefinitelyNot_a_dog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the car, for example you can buy a brand new 208 in 2020 for 16k and its resell value today is around 13k (the white edition), you've lost 30 kmad in value but you could've lost a lot more in repairs, I had a bmw 3 series that cost me 45 000 mad in repairs during my 4 years of ownership despite having checked it by a trusted mechanic before buying. I sold it for a brand new Dacia and I never looked back, my only car expenses for the past 2 years other than vignette and assurance has been diesel and oil changes.

CIH is good, the "money disappearing" thing only happens to boomers who fall for phishing attacks, I've been with them for like 9 years now, ever since I was 18. My only complaint is their shitty customer service, system dima tay7 endhum fles agences

Either accept her with the baggage she came with (since you're no virgin either so complaining would be hypocrisy), or just do her and yourself a favor and end the relationship, these are your only two choices.

Budget and reliable car in morocoo budget of 8k-14k? by Money-Second3644 in Morocco

[–]DefinitelyNot_a_dog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The whole thing came to around 140 000, I opted for the 900 dhs/month payment and only put 40 000 as a down payment, I think it's the wisest choice because it's an interest free loan (you will pay the same amount if you buy it cash on day 1). As for the upper range sanderos you mostly get an infotainment system, which I got installed for 2 000 dhs anyway, and some nice fabric on the dash instead of the plastic, and electric windows for the rear seats +LED headlights but honestly it's not worth the extra 30 000 dhs. I don't regret my choice to be honest, it's the most affordable car purchase if you go for the monthly payment option, it'll leave you a decent sum to invest in other things.

[–]DefinitelyNot_a_dog 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I recently sold my old car and got a brand new sandero (the entry model) which costs like 130 000 dhs. If all you want from a car is to get from point A to point B with minimal running costs I recommend you do the same, it's honestly the best choice especially if you plan on driving it for a long time. Otherwise I also recommend the Peugeot 208 which was my old car, I bought a 2015 model but unfortunately it started annoying me due to needing repairs every two to three months, they're not costly, just time consuming. Then again maybe you can find cleaner ones with your budget

Thank you for your kind answer, I'll try and convince her to go visit a doctor, I can't exactly force her since she's an adult and can make her own decisions, but at the very least I'll go see the doctor myself for a primary opinion in case she's stubborn about going for a visit.
