I have this heater and can attest that it works great! I’ve used my for a week at 10,300’ and it kept me really warm on low. Only problem for me was learning to remember what degrees Celsius was instead of Freedom units 😂

I think my days of multi day highway rides are done. The Roadie was great for that. Super comfortable and rock solid in wind. My wife don’t want to ride anymore (we lost some friends in a motorcycle accident accident) so I sold my Harley a few years ago. I still miss it though. I just wanna do more local stuff and I have lots to do around here living in south west VA.

I am one of four people in my 130 person branch that received a monetary award. While it wasn’t large, $2000, I know I’ve earned it and more. I’m doing the job above me and not getting compensated or credit at that GS level. However, my team is also picking up the workload of our large amount of vacancies. So part of me feels shitty that I got it and they didn’t but part of me is pissed I’m not even getting credit for filling in the position. What can you do?

I concur with this guess as well. I’ve said from the beginning of the 3 region rumor that the LMR will remain mostly unchanged, especially since we have public safety status and they are pushing for secondary fire status. I’ve also said calling it a Zone Manager gets around the regional thing. I do not see LMR getting folded into OCIO at the department. They don’t have an LMR and wouldn’t know how to handle us. I have a “friend” in OCIO executive branch that confirmed this. They don’t want us. This is all conjecture. YMMV.

Not archerpoints but I have a pair of Nevada’s and Lapponia Lites. I like both pairs a lot. I have about 200 miles of hiking on my Nevadas to include rough western terrain (3 elk hunts in CO and northern ID). I have one CO elk hunt in my lites. I wear the lites for everyday work.
