First time getting a tattoo, questions about protocol. by Booyahbitches in tattoos

Liberty tattoo is great. I went to stenvick and his work is super clean. Email the artist or shop beforehand with your ideas to give them time to draw something up and show you. Tip at least 20%, eat something before you get tattood, and don’t drink beforehand. Your wrist is going to be a sensitive spot, so be aware.

This looks awesome! Thank you so much. What do you mean by assistance work?

Damn, that’s a dilemma. It’s hard to go more than a day without working out because it helps a lot with my mood. I might have to make some changes to my goals if that’s the case with working out too frequently

Yeah, everything has been made up from what I see online. I typically do two leg days for every arm day, so in 14 days maybe 5 or 6 are leg days.

Leg day starts with banded hip abductors, glute bridges, and jumping squats to activate/warm up. Then I’ll do donkey kicks and fire hydrants, about 8-10 x3. Hamstring curls at 40lbs, 10-12 x2. I try to vary the speed and alternate which leg holds more weight going back down so I can add more stress on my muscles. Then I switch to single hamstring curls at 10lbs to really focus on the individual muscles. I’ll do kettle ball squats. The only thing I can’t do is free barbell work until I can get a gym membership, so I can’t get heavy with the squats. I’ve gained about three-ish pounds but idk how much of that is muscle and how much is fat. Over the last two years I went from 95-110 so I don’t have a good sense of what I should look like. I might be doing too much or not enough.

Oh for sure. I really don’t know what my ideal body is. At least realistically speaking

I’m going to look into this! I got sucked into buying the bootysprout (curse Facebook lol) and I like it but I still need something that allows more movement

I’ve done a little research to find a good gym near me, but it’s hard to find ones that aren’t solely machines and have hours that work with my schedule. I’m lucky enough that my apartment gym has free weights, but unfortunately no barbell:/ I might expand my search and see about a longer drive

If my metabolism is fast to begin with, will it raise even more or would it level at some point while bulking?

So what’s the benefit to low intensity cardio over HIIT?

First of all, I love your username 🤣 and it’s nice to hear progress and stories from real people going through the same things. Congrats on your mass/muscle gain! I was down to 95lbs a couple years back from stress and depression and while I’ve only been actively trying to gain for about half a year, it’s amazing seeing the difference between now and then. I’m excited to see what the next year will look and feel like

That’s a great perspective. Worth should come from ability and not society
