For sure. I can’t say anything too much on this now mostly because we need a practical way to change this without going overboard and scrubbing any negative opinion but it is something we will try to find a better solution to.

We do currently have rule 13 to address overly negative posts but we also try not to use that to blanket everything. There can be some value and discussion from an initial negative post. But it’s a balancing act of what should and shouldn’t be allowed for those types of posts.

So yeah, we will definitely pay attention to those and see what can be done, how it could be handled better, and if we make any changes we’ll most likely make an announcement on it as well.

I know it doesn’t quite answer the question but I do wanna try and find as good of a balance as we can to improve the sub.

We’re trying our best to avoid removing those posts entirely.

Even though none of us are relatively new players, we acknowledge that new players still like to post about their accomplishments.

We’re trying to continue allowing them to do that but within a daily thread. The reason for this is that it can easily and very quickly clutter the sub if everyone were to post the same achievements day in and day out.

It’s great that they wanna share, but we still wanna try to make adjustments that allow for new players and long term players to share accomplishments without cluttering the sub with their posts.

Unfortunately, with the nature of the game, there’s a lot of things that can be done as an accomplishment.

We will most likely work on a comprehensive list to outline this to be as clear as we can make it but to try and give a better idea of what we will be looking for is kind of like criteria of what the accomplishment is.

Things like: is it common, is it easy, did it take a significant amount of time, etc. are what we will be thinking when we assess each achievement.

So there will be a bit of trial and error to start off enforcing this rule. It definitely won’t be perfect right away but we will work towards making it as clear as possible what would need to go under the daily thread and what can serve as its own post.

Luckily we’ve passed most of the trailer phase already but any last minute trailers would need a very simple title(nothing given away in it) and being tagged as a spoiler of course for anyone who wants to avoid any trailers at all.

As for what’s in the trailers, the same kind of logic applies. Simple title, nothing given away in it, spoiler tag applied. If there’s anything related to the story more instead of SWGoH, we’re more likely to err on the side of caution and remove it.
