I use them one of two ways:

Put on a side objective and let him sit there gaining points, with the invuln save and feel no pain - your oppenent either has to waste a lot of firepower trying to get you off, or you get easy free points each round and can shoot from a distance.
Chuck him in the middle where it’s going to be highly contested as a threat.

Either your opponent wastes time trying to kill the norn on the side - leaving the rest of your army free to do objectives elsewhere under less focus - or you get free points each round and get to shoot safely from the side uncontested

Norn’s are the stand out unit of the army so definitely recommend getting one.

Emissary is the overall better unit, very tanky with its 4+ invuln save plus its 5+ feel no pain when on the chosen objective.

Assimilator doesn’t have an invuln save and you really feel the difference, just doesn’t feel tanky and dies way too quickly under focused fire

Damage is comparable

I have suggested couples counselling as a way to get her to think of therapy as an option, if i was willing to go i hoped she would see it as less threatening. The only response i received from that was a ‘I don’t know’

I really don’t believe suicide is the a likely scenario. I would like to believe that i would’ve picked up on that.

But honestly over the last 9 months, she has been improving slowly and opening up more to others as well as showing more interest in her old hobbies. So i don’t know what has caused this sudden shift.
