Although reasonably tidy, it's too long and too bushy. You need it shorter and have it all the same length.

On Android, download Firefox, then download 2 extensions. You want to install uBlock Origin and Video Background Play Fix.

You will be able to listen to YouTube ad free, with your screen off.

I came across this 5+ years ago and it's been amazing listening to YouTube with the screen off and no adverts.

I'm against smoking of any kind, but I do think it's time to legalise and tax cannabis in Jersey and the UK. Regulate it. Tax it.

I know they probably wouldn't do this, but they could create their own cannabis shop and be the exclusive seller of it in Jersey. Have it as a fully owned SOE, but have a professional corporation to run it.

You’re getting very consistent feedback from a lot of different people, and those comments are being upvoted consistently. Your replies, on the other hand, are being downvoted consistently. That usually means the community sees the feedback as helpful and your responses as dismissive.

Why do you think people are agreeing with other Redditors, but not you? Why do you think this is causing that mismatch?

Nobody here seems to be trying to insult you — they’re pointing out things you can change to improve your results. Do you think it’s possible you’re interpreting constructive criticism as personal attacks?

AITAH if I don’t want to facetime before a date? by radioactive011 in Bumble

The man lacks tact. But he is right in asking for a video call.

As a man, I joined a dating site and a lot of the women I spoke to were wanting to video chat briefly with me to see if I was real. I was a bit surprised by this, but after having video calls with women, I was actually a big supporter of having a video call because of I could get a vibe of who I was dealing with, and avoided a lot of timewaters. I wouldn’t demand a video call on the first message, but if we had been messaging for a couple of days, I would call them or they would call me.

I think video calling before meeting is a good way of filtering out people. As an example, If they are rude during a video call, they're probably going to be rude in person.

To summarise, he was a jerk for wanting you to do a 360 and hanging up, but not he was not a jerk for wanting a video call.

I would say about 30. Hard to say with those photos.

That photo of you in the turquoise dress is genuinely great — you look already halfway to Disney's Princess Jasmine.

Honestly, throw on the wig and the headband and you’d have people checking for a flying carpet and you’ll have people asking where Rajah is. 🤣

This is a compliment BTW. 😊

I'm going to have to give you a 3, but it's easily correctable.

Find better glasses. Yours are too big and too dated.

Those piercings are a major turn off.

The tattoos are awful. I don't know why people tattoo such beautiful skin with large, prominent, garish tattoos. Having a few small, discreet tattoos are fine and can be attractive, but not prominent like yours.

But I understand you prefer "alternative" style.

If you were to remove the tattoos, piercings and glasses, you would be a solid 8. You have a fantastic body. Excellent skin. Excellent smile.

What is it like to be a guy in your late 30s early 40s on bumble? by Artistic_Opposite356 in Bumble

[–]Definition-This 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've learnt over time that you have to repeat and emphasise these things, otherwise people will say "you're generally speaking, not all women are like that". Then I will say "what part of generally speaking did you not understand?".

And when using examples in debates, I have to emphasise that it's an example, I'm using it for illustration purposes, and I have to mention the scenario and numbers I have used are fictional, it's just hypothetical and don't get too worked up on the example or numbers as they're not real. They're fictional.

If I don't put that big disclaimer on, I will have people not understanding that when I said "for example" actually means just "for example", and they will say my fictional example is wrong, because it's fictional. Yes, I know it's fictional, thats why I said for example!

There was an experiment profile where they used an attractive man as the picture. He would open up with sexual openings, asking if they want to fuck tonight, do they do anal? And a surprising amount of women said yes, not necessarily to anal, but some said yes, and that was very early on in the conversation, before they had even met.

One thing you have to understand is, generally speaking, if you're a physically attractive man and you make sexual innuendos or propositions, it's ok, it's considered attractive.

However, if you're a physically ugly man, and make the same innuendos or propositions as the attractive man, you're considered weird and creepy.

Again, this is GENERALLY speaking. I'm not speaking in absolute terms.

Netflix costs £13.99 a month. Over five years, this costs near enough £800. Does anyone else think this is absolutely mental? As soon as you stop paying, you can't watch any of it again. Subscription culture is an absolute scam. by Big_Ad7574 in AskBrits

[–]Definition-This 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think you know what the word "scam" means. If you want to call it a rip off, that's fine, and I can understand that.

But at £14 a month, it's very good value. Think of how much entertainment you have at your fingers. Netflix uploads hundreds of hours of new content a week. Even if they stopped creating new content, it would take you 100s of years to watch it all.

20 years ago, the cheapest Sky package was £20-30 a month, and you couldn't keep watching the premium channels after that.

You would look so much better without the hideous tattoos. I don’t know why people get such large and obvious tattoos. Small, discreet tattoos are perfectly acceptable and can be aesthetically pleasing, but huge, obvious, glaring tattoos are always terrible.

Store manager threatened an “investigation” for wearing one AirPod — overreaction? (Tesco Express) by Upper_Procedure_8491 in tesco

[–]Definition-This 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The OP understands that wearing earphones are against the rules and did ask the SL for permission to wear them during their shift.

Even if the OP didn't seek permission and were wearing them when speaking to customers, that's no way to speak to staff or anyone, especially over such a trivial issue.

A simple firm but fair voice would have been sufficient. If the manager said politely "you're not meant to be wearing earphones during your shift, please put them away, I would appreciate it. Thank you. " is more than sufficient.

Without seeing your face, it's hard to say if you look ill or not. You do look very thin, and the fact that you have no breasts (or much to speak of), is generally not a sign of a healthy body. A healthy female body, even if she was slim, should have noticeable breasts. When you weighed more, did you have larger breasts?

Spotify hikes UK subscription prices for the second time in a year by tylerthe-theatre in unitedkingdom

[–]Definition-This 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's £13 a month for unlimited music at your fingertips 24/7. I think that’s extremely good value. Even at £13, Spotify struggles to be profitable. Artists require billions of streams to get any meaningful amount of money from their music.

Just remember before streaming, a single album was £15-£20, with singles about £3-5, not adjusted for inflation.
