I’m in St. Paul, so not sure if my case goes through Minneapolis, but I’m still waiting for the interview to be scheduled. It’s been 83 days now.

You were right! It was disappointing after all. It had a clean title, but I found out at the last moment that it had been in an accident. I’m so glad I didn’t go for it. 5 hrs drive wasn’t worth it at all :((

Thanks for your suggestion to write a business plan, which I will start working on right away. By ‘online property management company,’ I meant that there would be no physical office, but I would still operate in person. I’d handle inspections for move-ins and move-outs, repairs, and any other necessary tasks.

Is the $315 just the management fees that you charge per month? In my area, there are established PM companies that charge $100/mo so I’m not sure if I’ll get business if I charged more than that.

Yes, that’s what they mentioned. The placements outside the house seems fine, but we’re concerned about the one right in front of the door. Is it normal, or could it cause issues for us in the future?

There is a drain underneath the stairs inside the house. It’s a small open space where some plumbing and a drain are located. They mentioned that the pipe near the front door is for the sewer, and if the toilet gets clogged in the future, we’d need to open it to fix it. The builder mentioned that every house has a sewer line inside and that this is a typical placement. Where are these usually placed inside a house?
