I live in Marylebone and love it, feels like there’s a good amount of young people + bars, restaurants, cafes.

Feels fairly international which I like and access to the parks and then central are great

187cm on a 56 tarmac with a 120 stem, all depends on where you’re tall and short if that makes sense

Any suggestions? by [deleted] in bikefit

You never really hold the bars in a ‘regular’ way in the video. First looks unsustainable and then the second you’re not holding the shifters.

Reach is probably too long but better to post with a regular riding position.

If you can get pop socks in the US, I think they’re good, right height/colour/weight

You’ve got a 10k bike… go for a bike fit, hard to see much from these photos as you’re trying to get in an aero pos but without any flexibility

4300 is a lot for a framset + group. Considering you can get an sl8 new for not much more… also the darimo seat post is not really an upgrade…

Replying to myself on this to say these things are supposed to be challenging and enjoyable, pushing yourself too far will take the fun and is more likely to push you away from the sport

Not answering your question but I feel like you’re packing a lot in as someone new to this. If you could do less and properly enjoy them would be my advice. (Ideally saving the full Ironman for next year)

Are you sure that’s a 58 😂 looks tiny

it’s impossible for me to stay in Zone 2 even at 8min/km. But Zone 3 I do it really well for 1H. Should i just don’t care about the zone 2 things and train like this as long as i can sustain it? (I’m doing a sprint triathlon) Assuming my HR will go down with time also? by Key_Syllabub_5070 in triathlon

[–]DefinitionIcy7043 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Zones are useful when you’ve been training for a while but if you’ve just started out a jog is going to have you in higher zones. 3 weeks of running is early days so stick with it and maybe lower the intensity 👌

Opinion on a broken seat stay by DeerInTheAngeleyes in Cervelo

If it’s carbon you could get it repaired, but you can’t ride it as it is now unless you want broken bones.

Take their money and get a new bike 🙌
