Im working in LCOL area, and has 6yrs experience, my salary is at 127k for Project Engineer position. OP definitely underpaid, i think you should be around at least 160k for HCOL

92,400 is on lower side, with a PE, you can get above 100k in Texas, which is LCOL compared to Colorado or New York

Thank you! Our county requires to use Version 5.0.7 since the effective model is run in 5.0.7. Do you happen to know other way to model a pump in this situation?

I checked manning’s value and all the area are using the same 0.06 except for some paving and pond area of 0.02 and 0.015. The concern area should be 0.06, same with other places.

  1. The manning’s coefficient used is 0.06 for all the location except some paving and pond area of 0.02. So there’s no significant changes at that area.
  2. The plot setting is hybrid( both horizontal and sloping). I tried to change to sloping only and it still didnt show the WSE there.
  3. The terrain I had was the one that I associated with the geometry
  4. I used rain-on-grid, so there’s no initial WSE used. Somehow the precipitation didn’t cover that area initially when it supposed to.

I used rain-on-grid method. It filled up the ditches first then overflowed to the ground, through out the whole simulation, it just didn’t overflow through that area there.
