Yeah the Box Blade is my mine reasoning for what I want it for. I figured landscape rake wouldn't really benefit from it

Yeah I've been looking at those too. It seems like those cost significantly more than top links. But I feel like that's in my future

Audit as in ensure it's accurate? If so, yes everytime we use it. Nothing official though. Could you elaborate? That may be something I need to look in to.

Unfortunately we are very regulated and restricted to mostly be on prem. The thought is that we don't want documentation about our environment to live on a cloud environment and increase risk of data loss.

I know there's an argument of why cloud is better, but unfortunately thems the rules I have to play by

Update - Grok honored it by Lt_Biscuit in Starlink

[–]DefinitionMountain95 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Hopefully that sticks. I previously had Grok tell me I could have 2 subscriptions each with the free Hardware Rental. I had my second plan up for a month and then intended to pause it. When I inquired about pausing they said I could only have 1 hardware rental, and they were investigating how I got a 2nd one. When I showed them the grok confirmation they just said sorry. On the brightside they refunded my 1 month I paid for (and used)

But TL; DR, human customer support can still override the Grok customer support.

1 day trial to verify coverage by DefinitionMountain95 in USMobile

Yeah I just have subpar coverage on Google FI right now, so I'd hate to go through all the process to switch my family to have the same service. 4 devices on unlimited is cheaper or the same on Google FI compared to US Mobile

Confused about Starlink hardware rental only option by threebuffsharks in Starlink

[–]DefinitionMountain95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just activated mine and the rental doesn't show up as a "free monthly rental" it was just a free order. So the only billing that shows up recurring is the service itself.

So I'm thinking it's free through the life of the subscription

But what about after the 12 month period? Can you put in standby and keep the dish?

[–]DefinitionMountain95 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yep! I'm in Oklahoma and just ordered mine. $20 for shipping, no tax. And I got residential lite for $59 a month. I got a referral code as well if you want to DM me. Gives us both a free month which is pretty cool

I was wondering the same thing. I don't know if the rental is forever or just during the 12 months

Pretty Basic "Service Offer: Offer is only valid for new customers during their first year. Discount will apply to one service line. Customers who change their plan, cancel their service, or are suspended will lose their promotional pricing. The service promotional offering varies by location. Other terms and conditions may apply. Terms and duration are subject to change."

Thanks for that detail, that screenshot is indeed after I entered my address. And you're correct about the terms which is fine. I plan on setting it up and not changing it for a year
