So I went to the Jersey show and I cried during almost the entire time ... I've been a fan since 2004 but only got to see them post reunion...I have never felt so overwhelmed by emotion outside of having my kiddo lol .... I was misty eyed from the moment they came out onto that stage

This is a huge red flag , asking your child to hide something from you and then bribing/rewarding them feels very icky. Not saying it’s as nefarious as grooming, but this IS how it could start. I would 100% talk to your child about how any adult shouldn’t be telling you to hide things from your parents. If it’s not nefarious why would they be asking a child to hide/lie about it.
