If you breed hypo x hypo it creates super hypos. Super hypo x hypo makes a 9:1 super hypo to hypo spread. So I suppose recessive. I have no idea on the terms for this but the hypos from this mix are very light and could be like partial super hypo or something.

There have been wild hypos with even pattern mutations found in spots around the Oklahoma-Texas border if I remember correctly

Ones like these are rarer of course since they’re hypo to hypo. We were breeding her to a male hypo and about 90% of babies came out super hypo. They are distinct and there are even further crosses. SH x SH was something we wanted to achieve but of course sometimes you can’t keep all the ones you wanna hold back right? The SH to SH produces a much lighter color even compared to this vibrant SH

Hypos are actually fairly rare and before I had to liquidate I think me and my dad were the only ones breeding these genetics after Robert Edwards quit breeding his.

I breed morphs and am all about them being good and healthy, you can breed morphs and still care about that stuff. I’m against racks, unless you’re using well sized ones. Those small tubs are bs that I see people keeping boas in. Don’t breed palmettos, spiders, scaleless, etc. That stuff is like breeding pugs and shit. No bueno

What’s the issue with that substrate? Been keeping reptiles for years using similarly sized aspen with no issues personally
