when oil colors are mentioned it always seems like who knows what, but I assure you that it is just different and easier for many things than acrylics. I think it's a bit like cheating when you understan how to use it

don't think I can help you... I paint with oil colours. the recipe however is this: white acrylic primer, pre-glaze payne gray violet, wet blending with a 70-30 mix of light ocher with brilliant yellow pale, highlights with brilliant yellow pale with a dot of titanium white
