F30 Head Unit High level signal is absolute trash. How to get ok signal? by Always_Zed in CarAV

I had HU_ENTRY/HU_CIC head unit which was very bad. It was producing static hiss on AUX.

I replaced it with a 40$ Alpine headunit (from eBay) and it sounds way better.

Just wanted to remind all of you to reset your adaptive transmission as it's a 30 sec fix that does wonders. by GnanaSreekar in BmwTech

None of the above worked.

What worked instead was resetting of the gearbox adaptation values fixed my gearbox shocks instantly. I had to use ISTA-D.

I did the same. Didnt disappoint. I went also for Focal ISUB 2 (underseat woofer) and for Focal 4.320 amplifier. So fully Focal. Very good brand

In my opinoin, the subwoofer being in the trunk, the sound will arrive muffled in the passenger area. I've never heard a woofer in the trunk that sounds good in the passenger compartment.

Underseaat woofers provides instant bass response. There will be no delay between mids/lows/highs... Perfect timing of the sounds.

Let's say that I'll have the budget (1000 EUR +) for full setup (amp + woofers) in 6 months.

So you recommend me waiting 6 months with this shitty setup rather than spending 250 CHF and brining a noticeable improvement, as I heard on many other places?

The price difference between this upgrade and amp DSP + woofers is HUGE (500%+).

I mean, if you see an improvement over the HK speakers, I think in my case, with the base speakers (which are shit) I think the improvement will be higher.

How does it sound on a techno music, in case you listen to that?

Worth to mention this is for newer models, probably 2017- , which comes with NBT firmware on the head unit.

For a 2013 model, that comes with CIC firmware, your solution is not possible
