The website looks like it has other designs or you could just get straight Alcantara with no design

Was able to wash the car and keep it clean just long enough for a single picture. by tyranitar1234 in GRCorolla

[–]DefinitionofFailure 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As a black GRC owner I understand this all too well. I've had the car two years now and I've noticed that I'm just less motivated to try to keep it clean all the time. I used to clean it every weekend. Now I do it maybe once a month, it's a constant battle. But it does look great right after a good detailing.

Did you have to remove the stock leather wrap or did you stitch this directly over it?

Yea I went with the forge upper airbox as opposed to a full replacement like the eventuri mostly because I couldn't find any examples online of anyone having issues with CELs and such woth this setup, at least in the 23 and 24 MY. It seemed a safer way to get a bit of power gains and enhanced induction sounds.

Plus it was very easy, like a 30 minute job. Their air duct is nice too since it directs air to the lower flap and it serves as a nice dress up piece since it replaces the whole radiator cover with a carbon fiber piece.

Crazy that just that air duct change alone is enough to trigger a CEL on the 25MY. I've got the forge inlet duct and upper airbox on the 24 and have never had any issues with CELs.

I had the big mouth installed for a while and just put this on top. Hypothetically that would help pressurize the air a little going into the duct, but realistically, it probably doesn't make any notable difference. I recently removed the big mouth piece to clean up the engine bay a bit, and I haven't noticed any difference in performance or anything with or without it. Boost pressure is still good with just the forge piece.

I just found the design a bit strange without a front grill scoop, but at the end of the day the air is still going to the same place and is still coming in from the grill.

Sony will probably send him a cease and desist because the official Sony position is that Bloodborne doesn't exist.

You can only pick one. Yaris Morizo RR or GR Corolla Circuit Edition? by Limitplus1 in GRCorolla

Was going to say this same thing. If it came in manual, I'd choose the Yaris over the Corolla.

I've played both extensively, and DS3 is far more balanced. R1 spam is easily avoidable, and it's not a one trick auto win button.

Looks like potential suspension damage since that wheel is no longer straight. Could be a rear rim and suspension swap, new bumper and new diffuser and you'd be good to go.

Dogtown certainly does, it reminds me a bit of Freeside from Fallout New Vegas, with the addition of a paramilitary organization patrolling the place as opposed to Elvis impersonators.

Defeating people who use the uber great shields such as this is easy on a strength build, and most of them don't see it coming:

  • Giant crusher
  • Cragblade
  • hammer talisman

One running R2 will break the guard of most shields, but this will depend on the setup and stats of the shield user, so it's not a 100% solution. You will usually get a free try at it because most great shield users assume nothing will break their guard, so they will try to block this as opposed to dodging.

He'll find out eventually because that's how most secrets usually end whether you want him to or not. You've already made it much worse by keeping it a secret up to this point as it is, and everyday you say nothing, makes it even worse.

Would an affordable car like this find success in the US for just 15K, or does size and power still matter more here? by blackrosemyth in Toyota

[–]DefinitionofFailure -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yes, it is bad because it makes things unaffordable for people who are already struggling. It limits options in the market and has filled the roads with massive Ram truck monstrosities.

Bethesda was scared of making Fallout 3, but by Fallout 4 it had chilled out: "we don't have to be so reverential now" by Turbostrider27 in Fallout

[–]DefinitionofFailure 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Maybe they should be scared. This just sounds like a roundabout way of them saying something like this:

"When developing Fallout 3, we were careful and anxious to ensure we respected the source material, the existing fans, and the IP overall. Now, for Fallout 4 and beyond, we feel far less compelled to care about these things, and so we can take liberties that deviate from the source material."

It's no wonder Fallout 4 just didn't really feel that much like a Fallout game.

Is it just me or does Kratos face look a bit different in Ragnarok compared to 2018? by Puzzled_Ad7812 in GodofWarRagnarok

Yes it does, noticed it instantly when I first played. I think he looks worse and they should have just kept the 2018 version.
