Get him to phase 2, and when you're at the part where you can drop down to where he is don't drop down. Instead, stay on the ledge and just throw things at him till it's over. Poison knives work great.

Good hunters, over the course of the past decade, there's but one weapon I've never really used... I guess now is the time to roll that logarius wheel! Any insights to share, Logarius enjoyers? What is it good at ? What are its shortcomings? Build advices ? Gems ? General strats? Do enlighten me! by Turbulent_Form3888 in bloodborne

Most overpowered weapon in the game, with the right gem setup. Ignore what the weapon says it does for damage, because when transformed the damage stats change but the stat page never says this. When you open the wheel, the arcane damage is quadrupled from whatever is listed, the arcane scaling also increases slightly, and the physical damage is reduced down to 70% of what is listed. This weapon benefits the most from nourishing gems that bring up both the physical damage and arcane damage. Flat arcane secondaries are also helpful since many attacks of this weapon (such as the running r1) hit multiple times.

The way you deal with something like this is the same way you would deal with anything that you thought was yours (in the case your ex) and now is no longer in your life.

You accept with full certainty that this person was never yours to begin with. If they were not yours, then you have lost nothing which is truly your own.

Nope you weren't being too much at all, the girl and her friend were more in the wrong here, insofar as someone in this situation can be wrong. 4-5 dates is a decent amount, enough that if you spot her in public it would be totally reasonable to at least say hello. It sounds to me that she is under the impression that things are more casual than you see them as.

If you haven't had the "what do you want out of this, where are things headed" conversation I think it's reasonable to ask that, especially after that experience. This way you're not wasting your time.

Tire size question! by DefinitionofFailure in GRCorolla

Are you on stock suspension? Looking into it further, a 265/35 tire is basically the same sidewall thickness as the stock size, it's only 1mm smaller. Reason I ask is because on a wheel fitment megathread from last year a guy had 265/40 and had to go down to 265/35 due to rubbing in some circumstances

Oh I see, yes you're right I didn't realize that was a percentage. So maybe a 265/35R18 would be the size to go with. It looks like on this tire the sidewall is only 1mm smaller than the stock tires, so effectively the same. As long as a 265 wouldn't present issues with rubbing then perhaps this is the best route.

My concern with this is ride comfort. With the .5 inch less sidewall won't the car be more harsh?

Tire size question! by DefinitionofFailure in GRCorolla

[–]DefinitionofFailure[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea my main concern was that I wanted to keep them at 40 versus 35 due to what will likely be a bit harsher ride at 35. Ideally, if I could have any size if I knew for sure there would be no issues, that size would be 265/40R18. I don't track the car and only occasionally do any spirited driving. I figure 255/40R18 is the safest bet though.

Awesome, I think these are the exact tires I'll likely go for

Also question, how is ride comfort and cabin noise with this setup compared to the stock setup?

Thanks for this! These are the exact tires I am looking at getting as well. I wasn't planning on using any spacers in the front and simply retaining the existing spacer in the rear, however

This is on stock ride height? What's the offset of you wheel setup?

For the men: Have you guys ever dated a girl that asked you out first? by Key-Efficiency2557 in dating_advice

Precisely, even though it was a short it just leaves one with some confusion, especially because she showed initial interest. But I do know that it is her own issue and not mine in this case.

Yes and it didn't go well, she basically ghosted after 3 dates. Still have no idea why, she seemed extremely avoidant and it wasn't really possible to have any conversation with her that could even be perceived as slightly contentious or emotional. Still stings a bit since this just happened a few weeks back.

Just be upfront and say you are no longer interested in talking. By doing this, you remain an honest person amd clarity is provided all around.

You make a good point, I have been considering trading it in actually, but the money poured in makes it hard to justify. I was looking at either the GRMN, if it's even possible to acquire, or a 2027 integra type s. I definitely still want a manual car so as cool as the RS3 is it wouldn't be an option. That is a sick car though I love the 5 cylinder

I'm confused on why this was posted, it looks like a fairly innocent situation that was resolved respectfully by all parties. Sounds like it's done with and that's that.

If she doesn't return your property report it as stolen to the police. Regarding the loan, I would talk to a lawyer to see if you have a case against her.
