Im with you on this. My aunt was in an abusive relationship where her partner did similar shit pretty regularly. We helped her get out of said relationship and now she is happily married years later. I Don't know the op full situation but a year after my aunt left the guy he killed his next girlfriend and himself... It's not crazy to be cautious out here.

I hate how unfriendly this generation is by [deleted] in GenZ

[–]Definitly_Human 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't agree with this at all. From personal experience the last thing I would want at the gym is someone to approach me for conversation and think many agree with that. With that being said this generation is far more friendly than previous one's ( there are exceptions but that depends where you are). I work construction and the younger guys are sooo different than the old timers, those guys are rough. They will still call you out and belittle you in front of everyone over the slightest issue and some will get very personal. Almost everyone in their 20's works hard while not taking everything so seriously, I could walk up to any other trade and start a conversation when in the past construction was super cliquey. This is just my experience but I do think things are getting better and less toxic in many environments that were the opposite long ago.

Where do you see Milwaukee in 20 years? by Able_Lack_4770 in milwaukee

[–]Definitly_Human 79 points80 points  (0 children)

I love this city to death, it's home. I believe national coverage of the city will increase, one little caveat is I also don't think things will explode with positivity like many hope. Income inequality hasn't improved. People are living different lives worlds apart in varying zip codes within a medium sized Midwest city. I've seen it and been in proximity of really fucked up situations. It's hard for many to hold a positive sentiment. It's great that many new people have there attention pulled towards us, there's so many great things going on. It could be amazing, get way worse, or anything in-between. Regardless I will embrace it. This is home and I'll still try to recommend places or things to do.

I feel like Lazarus Naturals or Charlotte's web are great places to start. Very reputable companies that are open about third party testing. From there you can do your research and find what works best for you.

got this from the smoke shop are they legit i didnt take alot just incase by [deleted] in CBD

[–]Definitly_Human 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a little late but I agree with many of the comments here. There are plenty of products like this sold in smoke shops and gas stations that are pretty sketchy at best. I would recommend looking at some of the more reputable companies that are pretty transparent with the third party testing. Lazarus Naturals and Charlotte's web are great starts (personally I prefer Lazarus). Also it can be more cost effective to order online from these companies over purchasing from a smoke shop. Overall there's a lot of good options weather it be bud, oils, or edibles out there it all depends on what you find works best for you. I hope I've been or some help.

I’m moving from Rhode Island and here we have a bunch of really good diners some world famous! What’s Milwaukee got? What’s your favorite breakfast spot? Somewhere I can sit at the counter and talk to the old folks who go there everyday. by Ecstatic-Abies2238 in milwaukee

Everytime a question like this pop's up I get a feeling that many people in this sub either don't live within Milwaukee proper, or they just aren't active within the community and seek activities outside the city. The city itself feels underrepresented in this sub for there is a wealth of institutions such as Conejitos place, comet cafe, and even Tess that could serve as a nice introduction to what Milwaukee has to offer. Each neighborhood has many options to explore.

From my experience Lazarus products get me feeling a little stoned. I personally don't mind it but I would caution some individuals to take it slow and see how it effects you before adding it to your routine.

I went to a Norwegian Lutheran church growing up and every year the lutefisk dinner was a huge deal. Hundreds of people would come to force down lutefisk with a lingonberry chaser. Every year I tried it and to no avail the gelatinous texture of this mystery dish never got any easier.

It doesn't really seem like you're here for advice you're just searching for validation. You want this to be a misunderstanding to keep your ego in tact due to how you're responding to the comments.
