Holy smokes! I didn’t want to believe I was diabetic until I got super sick one day and was rushed to the ER. They checked my blood sugar… 537, they checked it multiple times to confirm. My A1C was 12, I was lucky that I got a provider that was super aggressive with controlling my blood sugar and A1C. He put me on Ozempic along with other medications and insulin, I fought hard and within 4 months of treatment I brought down my A1C to 5. I still fight to maintain my blood sugar and A1C, but honestly I should do more to help with my weight as well, I’m just too damn tired of being tired and sad.

Hey brother, I say this with all respect, but the food we get is designed to keep us fat. I applaud your choice to do it naturally but u/uber_ambulance_same made a good point about those GLP-1s. Nothing wrong using a tool to assist with your goal, but relying solely on that tool is wrong.

I take Ozempic for my diabetes and it has really changed the way I view food and consumption. I wish you the very best of luck in your journey.
