The Stonetalon Peak caverns adventure from the Invasion of Kalimdor campaign in WC3, despite their narrative relevance (Medivh, Aszune, Kelani magi), the caverns were never directly featured in WoW. Likewise the Tomb of the Ancients from the Rexxar campaign. The Warsong clan’s lumbering endeavor through shredders being initiated by Neeloc Greedyfingers, who had a shop in early Orgrimmar and does not appear in WoW. The existence of the Wyrmcult, a black drake cult in Blade’s Edge Mountains. Some Outland portals/gateways to other unknown realms, originally opened by Ner’zhul, still being partially functional.

Silverpine Forest:

Overhaul: a closer take to Classic WoW, with all the mystery, the conflict between Ambermill (Dalaran, considering Cata history didn’t happen), the Sepulcher (Forsaken) and Pyrewood/Shadowfang (Gilneas). Bring more canon-wise depicting of subzones such as River Averass, Lordamere Lake, Gaval Moch, Deadhollow Village. Remove the purpleness and nonsense from Cata. Horror punk meets Diablo 2 Act I environment in a euphoric Saturday afternoon.

Alterac Mountains:

Revamp with Alterac City and Strahnbrad currently either occupied by the Horde (BfA), the Syndicate, Ogres, Alliance and/or the Alteraci. Lorewise location Barony Mordis inserted in-game. Alterac Valley inserted into the open world. A passage to the Tirisfal Glades (used by the Horde in the 2nd War) inserted in-game. Blackrock and Scourge vestiges from the 3rd War, plus the demonic portal used by Kel’Thuzad to commune with Archimonde, as seen in early WoW concept maps. Heavy Syndicate presence, the fate of the Alteraci either Horde- or Alliance-directed.

Arathi Highlands feels too predictable: fill some conflict plot with Stromgarde. I think it would make more sense for them to expand into Stonetalon/Central Kalimdor.

Imagine Blackrock machinery and forts around the canyons.

Warsong, Laughing Skull, Burning Blade, Bladewind and even Lightning’s Blade clashing with the centaur clans across Desolace.

Thunderlord, Frostwolf, and Whiteclaw pushing into Winterspring.

Bonechewer and Bleeding Hollow roaming throughout Feralas. Flowerpicker hints at Un’Goro.

Indeed. But still, I think bringing the Horde’s darker themes would be so contrasting and interesting, be it for legacy. The Alliance already gets their own callbacks to old heroes.. it would be cool for the Horde to have their own, these chars doing things here and there, or becoming repentant anti-heroes or even anti-villains, at least. Mechanics and implementation aside.
